It's that damn plurk meme. Sort of.

This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:
1) Post with your character. Name and canon go in the subject line.
2) Include your preferences.
3) Tag around.
4) If you tag, pick a letter from A-H according to the diagram above. Ta-da. That's the position the characters are sleeping in.
5) That's it.

( Cassandra is not accustomed to being the 'little spoon', insofar as her limited experience with physical intimacy has allowed her to grow acquainted with any sort of typical positions at all. Even with Regalyan, she had often found herself drawing him into her arms instead of the other way round, so used to playing the part of the Seeker, the protector.

This reversal of roles she finds herself in Trevelyan, she does not mind it. Quite enjoys it, in fact.

It's been a rough day.

Maybe the longest day of his already long, long life. A palace plummeting out of the sky while Kovacs cradled his sister's body in his lap, broken, hearing the distant sound of Kristin's furious, desperate yelling as she was dragged away by Tanaka. His stack fished out of the water, another corpse dredged from the bay. A gruelling interview in virtual, an even more gruelling discussion with his clone, a rock-paper-scissors game with himself — not sure if he even wants to win, or if just laying down arms and joining his sister is easier. But in the end, he wins. And he goes to Kristin's home.

"Which one are you?"
"The one you said goodbye to."

And the inevitable happens.

It's still complicated — this is always gonna be complicated — but it's relief, exhaustion, grief, it's falling into her rumpled bed rather than his lavish but impersonal suite at the Raven. It's a surprising amount of quiet afterwards for two such mouthy assholes: Kristin propped against the broad expanse of Kovacs' chest, his hand absentmindedly tracing the line of her bare shoulderblades. His body doesn't betray any trace of that battle in the sky and the subsequent crash, with the whole sleeve torn apart on impact; there's no sign of it, but he remembers it. Viscerally. It feels like he should be a limping wreck of himself, carrying external wounds to match the internal, but he's not. This particular sleeve had a pretty low-key time in comparison.

Still. It's been a rough fucking day.

[ at one point or another, almost everyone in his life claimed his curiosity would one day lead to a whole lot of necessary trouble. who knew he maybe should have listened to some of them. one minute he had been enjoying a nice stroll and the next he found himself in a completely different location. not only location but time. they explained it all in the headquarters after he had been found and tests were done. so many tests and he just wanted to be left alone but oh no. coming into the future meant his other self zoomed back to his time.
