( would you be down for a thread? i'm canon familiar with fe:a so i can think of a few scenarios! the first that came to mind was a thread focusing on corruption of innocence, since lissa uses healing magic, and shadow weaver dark magic. would love power imbalance and age difference stuff too, since lissa's really young and shadow weaver is like... at least over 50. shadow weaver gets off on power and manipulation, so her manipulating lissa into a sexual relationship would be very on brand. maybe they've got a bit of a mentor/teacher dynamic.

[ Lissa was a worthy apprentice. From the first time that Shadow Weaver witnessed her use her magic, she knew that Lissa was worthy of her teachings. Shadow Weaver wanted to be the one to harness that magic of hers — the one to nurture it and raise Lissa up to her full potential as a magic user. If Lissa were to reach glory, it would be Shadow Weaver that brought her there.

She’d spent much time with Lissa within the past few months. Teaching her tips and tricks to use with her spells to make her ever stronger. During this time, she’d grown quite fond of the girl she called her disciple… fonder than was appropriate in the eyes of the public, perhaps. However, to Shadow Weaver, there was nothing wrong with a teacher appreciating her student’s talents… and letting that appreciation be known.

It began with quick, fleeting touches that would later begin to last and linger. Touches to Lissa’s shoulder, or a hand that would caress her soft cheek and smooth skin. Running her thumb over her lips as she would praise Lissa… and smiling knowingly behind her mask whenever Lissa would blush delicately in turn.

Shadow Weaver was fully aware of how Lissa didn’t enjoy being treated as a child. So — Shadow Weaver did not treat her like a child. She did not go easy on her… and she showed her an adult affection in turn.

It’s no wonder that things ended up the way that they did after months of this. The ‘things’ in question being Lissa currently below her, both of them still dressed, with Shadow Weaver’s hand on her cheek. This time, her thumb drags down Lissa’s bottom lip with one of her pointy nails. She can feel Lissa’s breath hitch, like she’s nervous. Of course she is. This is the first time things have gotten this far, beyond deep kisses and heavy petting above clothes. ]

Look at you, Lissa. So very lovely like this.

[ Shadow Weaver’s voice is silky smooth, deep and husky, befitting her older age… over forty years Lissa’s senior.

[ Lissa needed a teacher. There was a lot to learn; to catch up to everyone, to live up to her sister's legacy. Miriel was too purely logical for her, Henry too naturally talented to teach - so she'd met Shadow Weaver, and been taken under her wing. Shadow Weaver was powerful, intelligent, and willing to cater her lessons to Lissa's needs. Willing to treat Lissa like an adult, too. In more ways than one. She treated the princess like a woman. At times, there were touches that set her heart pounding, that made her want more.

Taking a while to get there was probably for the best, for Lissa's nerves. Even after all the teasing, laying under Shadow Weaver and ready to go that big next step, she's squirming and blushing and nervous. A hand holding tightly onto Shadow Weaver's shoulder. ]
