THE WALKED INTO A BAR MEME

"A guy walks into a bar..."
We all know how it starts, but what happens after that? That's completely up to you. This is a 'Start your own scenario' type of meme. Start along with the regular:

Post your character's name, canon, preferences

Set up a scenario

Pretty simple, right? That's because it is. Pick a time frame, if you'd like. Pick a specific city. Pick a specific planet. Want to hang out in The Titty Twister, go right ahead. Mos Eisley Cantina a bit more your speed? Then take a left at the second star and go straight on until morning. Slip in an underage character and sneak around trying to scam drinks. See if someone comes and tosses you out. Try to pick up the hottie at the bar -- or slip something into their drink when they're not looking. Maybe you're the bartender and you're feeling a little chatty while you pour. The possibilities are endless and they all start with someone opening a door and coming in.

Sometimes bars were nice places to be. She could enjoy the buzz of people getting drunk around her and the general relaxing without having her team hovering. She really didn't know where she was and she didn't care overly much; a dark corner table in a bar was a dark corner table in a bar anywhere one went really.

Rachel had her feet kicked up o the third chair around her little scrap of a table but that left the one across from her open to the curious and the strange.

[ Well of course she expects full service from the bar as their honored guest, but the arrangement between her and this bar is to their mutual benefit. [Eh, drinking and crawling from one tavern to the next wasn't exactly Richter's ideal way of passing the time, but he figured a few drinks once in a while wouldn't hurt. Except he may have misjudged his limits there and sampled too much wine.

[ No height jokes here; he lives within the Hanged Man. Sort of like a local celebrity; the last scion of the House of Tethras, blah blah blah, he writes adventure packed tales and smutty romance novels that are larger than life and sell like hotcakes. ]

[ Kíli is in high spirits as they make their way to the bar. Of course, like other dwarves, he's fond of good food and good drink. That he actually gets to accompany his uncle to such a place only increases his cheer.

Forgetting himself, he slings an arm around Thorin's shoulders. He has to practically jump to do it, considering their difference in height, but he manages. Ah, the enthusiasm of youth. ]

[ Fenris spends much of his time brooding alone, but tonight, he's decided to go do it in a public place. Mostly for the feeling that alcohol will bring. The Hanged Man is safe enough, and if it isn't, he can escape it quickly, he knows.

So he makes his way there, and finds a back corner table. He can see most of the bar from there, and should be aware if he needs to make a quick exit. He's just glad the table was unoccupied.

The one next to it, however, is not, as he soon sees; though, Varric is...if not quite a friend, at least an acquaintance. As the dwarf returns to his table, Fenris raises a hand in greeting. ]
