[Despite the usual formality he exudes, there are times when Shiro can just stop being "captain" and simply be what he thinks of himself: just another pilot in the Garrison force. He understands the role given to him and performs it to the best of his abilities, but it's a quiet relief to rest and shed such a thing.

Going out with his friends to hang for lunch had been Lance's idea, but a welcome one and the group was sitting around the table, Shiro listening to Pidge gushing over new technology, Hunk cutting in to add, Lance staring at them like they had two heads, and Coran trying to offer his own advice while Shiro and Allura are content to just sit and enjoy the snacks at the table.

Keith's the only one late and Shiro suspects he's probably just hung up on something. Hopefully not getting into trouble... though considering his newfound fame on Earth, well... probably not a big issue.]

Lounging in the topiary-filled courtyard of King Mickey's castle, Terra finds himself musing that he's been spending a lot of time in castles lately. In a way, it's not much of a surprise; becoming a resident of Radiant Garden (albeit, a temporary one) and being friends with Ienzo means visiting the castle on a regular basis simply to have access to him. They would sometimes meet elsewhere around the city, but it didn't seem like his friend could be pulled away from his work and research for very long.

So trips off-world together, even if they were somewhat work-related, were welcome diversions -- a change of pace that allowed for uninterrupted time together.

...Well. Uninterrupted time together once they were together.

He rolls over in the grass, eyeing the carry-out box Pluto had proudly brought him from Disney Town. He'd been a little skeptical when King Mickey said Pluto would happily run errands for him if he gave him a list and the necessary munny, but the dog was clearly smarter than he'd thought. Reaching out to briefly touch the box, he confirms the modified ice spell is still intact before rolling onto his back again, being sure to avoid one of the many flowerbeds around him.

He considers taking a nap, throwing an arm over his eyes. The sun pleasantly beaming over the courtyard still has another hour or two before it's no longer around its peak, and he isn't quite sure when to expect Ienzo.
