TEA for TWO Meme

On a fine summer day like this one, it would be a shame to not spend your lunch in a park or near the window over a cup of tea. You can watch the clouds float by, taste various flavors of this wonderful drink and chat with your friends!

Is that not exciting enough for you? Then how about a simple game of exchanging notes and favors?

THE RULES:

1. Post with your character! They are currently in the middle of having tea. The time and place is up to you.
2. Comment to other people! Keep the conversation going!
3. Sometime during the conversation, let a note show up on your partner's saucer. The note describes something your character would really like to do with their partner, no matter how innocent or scandalous!
4. The characters discuss the contents of the note. Feel free to go ahead and agree to fulfill it, haggle and present various conditions of its fulfillment, even act scandalized! The outcome is up to you.
5. Remember that your character may not have written the note right now, but it's definitely there and written in their handwriting. Also, keep in mind that the most innocent characters can have dirty wishes and the most promiscuous ones can have moments of chastity. Go for whatever scenario you'd like, be it sex or CR!
6. Have fun!

The pursuit of innovation and expanding technology was squashed in her nation thanks to a certain religious figure, so she has always been curious about learning more of what humans can do if they are left unbridled. Though certainly a lot of topics go right over her head since things like telescopes, autopsies, and other advancements were banned from being made commonplace.

[Most likely drinking tea in a library or garden, but as an avid tea drinker Lucifer will drink tea most places... said tea may or may not be of the Toddy variety.]

The tearoom at the art museum is effectively an oversized conversation pit with six or seven little tables, Greek style architecture surrounding it, and replicas of certain well-known frescoes on the walls. The service is unobtrusive, the decorative plants lush and well-tended, and there's a display of Egyptian art up the hall to the left, Faberge eggs upstairs to the right. It's altogether very genteel, and it's no surprise Loki and Lucifer are both drawn there.

It's a coincidence they've met, not a planned tea date, but since there's no one else in the room it seems a pity not to share a table, and so they have. Loki's choice in tea is, unsurprisingly, green. Also very bitter, but maybe the little plate of cakes and finger sandwiches compliment that flavor well.

Currently the conversation is more about their surroundings than anything too philosophical, but they seem to stray into heavier topics easily. Ontology and tea, what could be better? (Lots of things, probably, but shh, enjoy the moment.)

Tea in the garden was something they hadn't yet done even though they both had a love of nature. He brought the tea out to where Balthazar waited under the canopy among the flowers and butterflies. If pressed Lucifer might admit to calling in butterflies on purpose.

"I told you these cups were cursed." Lucifer laughs as he sets the tea tray down. A pair of delicately crafted glazed tea cups and pot sitting on it with a black tea steeping, one Lucifer preferred and wanted to share. Settling down beside Balthazar he gives him a raised brow. "Are you sure this is how you want to find out what curse they bear?"

Tea isn't really Cricket's thing, but making friends with new folk in the Nexus most certainly is. The place he and Ben have met up is pretty casual, effectively an outdoor coffeehouse, with tea and juices on offer as well. They're under a shady gazebo, with Cricket lounging back in his chair, braced legs propped on one of the spare chairs at their four-top table.

He talks to Ben as cheerfully and casually as he would anyone, but it doesn't take a genius to recognize this is a guy with a Past. Cricket most certainly knows the look.

About three-quarters of the way through their first cup, a note pops up on Ben's plate. Neither of them sees who put it there, but as soon as he opens it, Cricket recognizes his own writing, which is weird as hell because he didn't write it.

You seem so sad, and it reminds me of my Loki, and I keep wanting to cheer you up but I don't know what you like. Kinda wish there were a county fair around here. I reckon a tilt-a-whirl might be trite to a fella like you but maybe it'd be fun anyway.
