Barry was so rarely invited to these … pool party type things that he hadn't even thought to ask about details when someone invited him. Go to a pool party? Socialise? With his peers? Sure!

He realised his mistake when he entered the poolside area and saw that a circle had been set up for guys to have scraps in. One boy was wailing on another, while the other partygoers screamed and cheered.

He kept his distance for most of the party. But he had to admit, he was interested enough that after a few hours, he wandered to the edge of the circle, watching but not volunteering himself for a fight. Not yet, at least.

Tyler loved getting a fighting ring going at a party like this. No adults to stop them and alcohol flowing made the best combination for everyone to be game. Especially the kids who would never have gone in for it to begin with. It also brought around some interesting onlookers.

As he stepped away with a busted lip, he found a lounge chair by the pool and pulled out a cigarette to light. Sitting down, he tried to lean back but found that there was a new ache that hadn't been there before. "Shit-" he hissed to himself.

Barry should … probably have expected there to be some injured people around. Didn't mean he wasn't concerned when he heard Tyler hissing to himself.

"You, er, you okay there, man?" He asked, all innocent, polite cheerfulness.
