It’s May the Fourth, and if we’re being very honest everybody wants to be a Jedi today. So let’s do that!






Directions:

1. Post your name, canon, and a character starter! Indicate who your character is in the Star Wars universe, any preferences, etc. Blank top level comments will be deleted.

2. Already a Star Wars character? Fantastic! Indicate if you are playing straight to the canon, or if you want to try out an AU. (If someone doesn’t take this opportunity to do a Sith!Finn then you’ve disappointed me, your family, and this entire order.)

Era:
1. The Old Republic: Thousands of years before Anakin was born, Jedi were chilling and everything was cool. Haha, J/K, things were just terrible in different ways.

2. The Galactic Republic: The last gasps of a semi-functional democracy or the birth of a new era? You decide!

3. The New Republic: Just 30 years later as opposed to thousands, this is the era of Finn, Rey, Poe, and Skywalker men still needing to take a chill pill.

4. Other: It’s the gosh-darn-Star-Wars-AU meme. Dream your dreams!

Relationship:
1. Friends: Maybe you’re sisters-in-arms, maybe you cut your teeth on the senate floor together. Either way, you’re glad to see each other.

2. Rivals: Bitter rivals, for an assort of valid reasons

3. Family: Apparently, anyone can be family! Even if there is literally no prior indication of that anywhere in the text. Like. At all.

4. Romance: Basically everybody wants to make out with everybody anyway.

5. Business associates: This person isn’t your favorite, but making sure your bills are paid trumps any personal distaste.

6. Master and Apprentice: Maybe a better system of diversified leadership would keep everything from going to hell every time a Skywalker throws a temper tantrum but what do I know?

[The Rebellion is entirely new to Sinjir. Sure the war was over but it was difficult to change his speech from Rebellion to Republic, particularly when everything was still so ramshackle and battles with Imperial remnants still raged. He currently works as an intelligence operative where he can, though trust for a former Imperial is hard to come by.

At one of the various transient bases across the galaxy Sinjir approaches another man who seems to also have no company for the moment. It's not anyone he has yet met. A mixture of curiosity and wanting to at least get in one person's good graces causes him to start the conversation. Here goes nothing.]
