Perhaps that's why we often forget when we transition from one life to the next. What stays the same? What changes? Maybe it's too much for an ordinary mind to handle. Maybe it's destiny's way of keeping us from trying to fight it.

But here, in the gap between worlds, there are no barriers.

Here... you can look freely into what existed and what has not yet come to pass.

It is Sephiroth's gift to Cloud, to show him the greatness they are eternally destined for-- together. Surrounding them are at least a dozen windows into other worlds, other futures, other realities... and there will be dozens more the further they go should Cloud decide to start walking. Most depict them clashing, locked in combat, but there are some where their goals align and they appear to be working together against a common foe. Some of them still look to be in Gaia. Others are completely foreign. And there is one that shows them called to a great dimensional war between two deities - one of light, one of chaos - alongside many other warriors. A future that has yet to occur... One that Sephiroth is eager to meet.

Regardless of what the window shows, the prevailing theme is the same... Where one exists, the other will surely follow. 'Round and 'round, it goes, and perhaps to Cloud, it is madness-- a terrible string of fate that he wishes to sever. But Sephiroth... this is the part of destiny he has no desire to change.]
