You've got the world around you yawning with potential, possibilities fanning out before your very eyes—after all, they say the city doesn't sleep at night. The skyline's illuminated with glittering lights, and even now, the streets are bustling with activity. So here's the real question: where are you at this hour?

1) WORKING.
You're still caught up at the office or wherever it is you're holed up. It's getting late, but there's work to be done.

2) RELAXING.
You're warm and comfortable someplace indoors, whether it's in a cozy nook of a café or maybe just in your own apartment. There's no other place you really need to be, is there?

3) MEET-UP/DATE.
Is there someone you're seeing for dinner? A date? Maybe you're going bar-hopping together with some friends, or your attendance is expected at some special event. Alternatively, there's someone you're meeting with to make a deal of some kind, whether it's perfectly legitimate or something that might invite trouble with local enforcement.

4) OUT FOR A WALK.
Sometimes, it's nice to get out for some fresh air—or, well, as fresh as it gets with all the air pollution around you. The park's not too far away; it might be nice and quiet at this hour, if you don't run into any...

5) TROUBLE.
It's getting late and it's dark outside, but someone has been tailing you for a while. Walking faster only makes them speed up; they're doggedly persistent. What to do now? Is there a busy street you can turn on to for help? Or maybe it's time to confront your pursuer... On the flip side, you're the one tracking someone. For what reason? Well, only you would know, right?

6) OTHER.
Anything else you can think of!

A) STREETS/ALLEYS.
Are you visiting a busy district teeming with people? Or are you out on a quieter street? It can be dark out there, especially if you turn onto a smaller one without many streetlamps. Watch your step. Some of the alleyways might make good shortcuts if you're trying to get somewhere fast, but there's also trouble to be found sometimes. Don't get cornered anywhere, and especially don't get too curious if you see something suspicious in one of the dumpsters...

B) IN TRANSIT.
You're between locations right now, just trying to get on with your evening. You have some options, like public transportation: the bus, the train, the subway. Alternatively, you're a fancier kind of person: you've got your own car that you're driving, or better yet, you have a chauffeur and a private car. Or, you know, you're just taking a taxi or using a ride-share app. There are also transitional spaces like parking lots or garages.

C) DINING.
Some cities are melting pots of different cultures; you're bound to find countless spots at which to eat. There are small cafés if you want a quick bite, or fancier restaurants where you can wine and dine. You could support a small family business by dropping by at a local hole in the wall—sometimes the most authentic spots with the best food are nondescript locations. Or if you're really trying to impress, go for some famous Michelin three-star.

D) NIGHT LIFE.
Bars, clubs, lounges—all of it's fair game. Remember to drink responsibly—or don't, if you're looking to really forget about your troubles for a while. Just know that you'll only have yourself to blame for that raging hangover in the morning.

E) CORPORATE BUILDING.
In a larger city, major corporations might be headquartered in the glittering skyscrapers that line the most expensive districts. There are all kinds of businesses—banks, law firms, finance companies, tech groups, to state just a few. Some places might keep their lights on pretty late at night for the white-collar workers burning the midnight oil; others, perhaps not. Do you fit somewhere in this equation? Or if you're here for something more exciting, there's always corporate espionage...

F) SHOPS.
A lot of shops could be closed by now, but maybe it's that final hour before that mall or outlet you wanted to visit locks their doors for the evening. Time for some last-second shopping! Snatch up that deal before it's gone, or be sure to buy a gift for your date before it's too late!

G) HOME.
You're at home, wherever that is—an apartment, a condo, a house somewhere, or maybe something more extravagant. Real estate can get expensive in the city, especially in popular locations. Do you have a tiny apartment that covers all your basic needs? Or something much nicer, like the type of penthouse people usually only see in movies, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows?

H) CITY SQUARE.
Some city squares are hubs of activity, filled with street performers, pop-up stores, or food stalls. There's a lot you could do, especially when it's nighttime and the little lights strung around the place look so pretty.

I) ABANDONED SPACE.
Every city has its fair share of abandoned warehouses or other buildings that are slated for demolition. Sometimes they attract certain types of crowds that would make your average person think twice before confronting. A lot of places are off-limits, but every so often, the no-trespassing sign is more of a suggestion than a real threat, right?

Besides, notice them starting to watch us? I bet they're thrilled to see what happens next. Maybe I should insult you a little, for old times' sake 😉

[ He's always been a little popular with the rest of the class, while she's the geek who really only stuck around her own sister. So it's no surprise that he's got more people walking up to him to say hi, aside from her already having said her pleasantries to everyone else during cocktail hour. Besides, she's looking really cute in her dress, as simple as it may be, and they've definitely heard, thanks to Jaina, that she's in law school with Robb and doing so well in it, so the others might just be mostly intimidated by her.

Oh, she'd told him that her ex had confirmed his attendance at the last minute, and how they might have heightened security now because while he wasn't from an extremely popular country, he was extremely rich. Plus rumor has it that he was in the market for a bride. But playing around while preparing for the party had been incredibly distracting, and she almost wanted to just skip the whole thing. ]

She's your dad's favorite sister.
Well, only sister lol

[ A couple more people come out to the lobby to see who else has arrived, though she's surprised when Ramsay walks up to their trio and starts chatting her up, because he's definitely being so much friendlier than when they were in school. ]

You want to be the talk of the night before we bow out of here, do you?
Only if you want me to slide you over my knee later at the hotel, love. 😉

[ Well to be fair, he's also been away a lot longer than she has. And since he didn't graduate with them, there's a little more catching up with him because they all want to know how boarding school was and how he handled it. And she's a smart, beautiful woman. They're either intimidated by her, jealous of her, or checking her out because she'd be a good match for them in their heads.

He's already caught a couple of the guys here checking her out since she currently appears to be attending stag.

Her skin was much more interesting than the comment about her ex while they were getting ready. Which is likely why he doesn't remember that the ex is attending in the slightest. Though he has noted some of the heightened security that's already in place, preparing for the prince's arrival. Though he hadn't heard about the bride part. ]

So you're saying I should say hello at some point?

[ There's a slight narrowing of his gaze when Ramsay walks over to her. That guy has always rubbed him the wrong way, which is why there's a small text sent to her. There's a little bit of joking from Theon and his group when they notice him watching Jane and Ramsay, but he can't say he cares at this moment. ]

He so much as touches you and I'm breaking Bolton's nose.

Weren't we always the talk of the class anyway?
And you can do whatever you want with me later 😏

[ Nah, she's doing this because of Robb and his stupid bet. He not only gets to go stag, he gets her being insufferable for winning, and having his cousin as her date.

But she has a feeling that they'll need all the cuddles after the party, both from the sheer exhaustion of having to deal with their classmates and from whatever complications her ex will cause tonight. She knows he trusts her, but she can't fault him for however he might feel, or what people might whisper.

She's reading his text about Ramsay when Theon calls out to her from across the hall, asking her, loudly, if she wasn't going to say hi to her favorite person, even making some quip that she must like him a little now because he's cleaned up some. Unable to pass the chance up, she excuses herself from her group and walks over to the boys, trying to look unamused despite actually trying not to smirk.

Jaina pulls out her phone and discreetly opens the camera, sliding it to video. ]

Hey, hotshot.

[ It's not an immediately obvious endearment, so she gets to watch Theon and the others blink, trying to process what's going on. ]

[ He doesn’t get a chance to text her back, smirking at both of those comments before he glances up because Theon is calling out to her. He hadn’t seen that move from his friend. Though it does work some things out for them, because it’s also loud enough for everybody to turn to watch them as she makes her way over to them.

Cuddling back at the hotel, away from people, sounds so much better than being here right now. He’s hoping no complications arise, but he’s wondering why they agreed to go out as a whole again. Aside from holding Robb to his bet.

When she’s close enough he offers the smoothest smirk at her hello. Like they really needed to say hello when they were staying in the hotel tonight together, when they were discussing moving in together. But this is partially a show for the people around them. ]

Hey, beautiful.

[ He doesn’t give people time to process his words before his arm slips around her waist to pull her in close and he catches her in a deep, heated kiss. ]

[ It's really just because of the bet, in a way as payback to Robb for starting it up and coming up with those weird terms in the first place. She's also wanted to see her sister again, though she would've preferred that they just triple dated or something. (Well, the six of them plus Theon. Because Robb could never leave Theon behind if he's around, nevermind that he annoys almost everyone else in their group.)

Were they regarded with this level of scrutiny when they were younger? Maybe, only that she hadn't realized it, her attention consumed by him — as it's being threatened now. She could feel a lot of eyes on them, including those girls who'd been giggling in a corner as they checked him out; she could even feel a huff of annoyance from Ramsay as he follows behind her, despite having politely excused herself from their conversation. She hadn't been entirely serious about wanting an audience, but, well, it looks like they have it now.

She grins at his greeting, that lopsided grin that she and her twin have always been known to sport when they're genuinely amused or up to no good. But that's about all that she manages to do before he's pulling her into his arms and kissing her deeply.

She hears Theon gasp, "No fuckin' way," and she laughs into Aegon's mouth, because that's right about the reaction they've been expecting. She also catches someone say, "I knew it," which is totally expected, too. ]

I was just about to steal you from your friends.

[ Theon's still gaping like an idiot, probably for not having been told anything despite being connected to both of them in some way. ]

[ He'd like to know what caused Robb to create the terms considering out of everyone he's the one in their friend group that knows he's with Jane. So why would he do the ideal about ex's? It's not fair to Tal because he lost his bet, and it wouldn't have been fair to Aegon if Jane had lost. But at the same time, if neither had done well on the exam it would have hurt them both and their significant others. It's almost a lose-lose bet.

The scrutiny feels like more than before, but maybe it's because everyone is all here in the same room with them and Theon made sure that everyone's attention is on them. When they were in school, at least it was only two or three people watching them. Not the whole class. Though, he does have to admit that he enjoys the annoyance from Ramsay for being interrupted. He wasn't kidding about breaking that guy's nose.

Her laugh brings one of his own as he brushes his nose against hers, keeping their faces close even as the kiss comes to an end. He couldn't help just reaching out to greet her like that. She'd looked beautiful across the room and a large part of him wanted to make sure the whole room knew she was his since they already had all eyes on them. ]

Happy to be stolen, love.

[ Dipping, he steals another kiss though this one is softer and sweeter. ]

Theon, you look like a fish out of water. Might want to close your mouth. [ He chuckles and keeps his arm around Jane's waist so when they finally move she'll be tucked lovingly into his side. ]

[ It was probably just a dumb idea on Robb's part, really, that last clause recklessly thrown in there with no regard for the consequences should it come to pass. She supposes she shouldn't have encouraged him by agreeing to it, but, well, she'd been confident that it wouldn't have had to happen.

She feels herself flush at all the attention they're getting, but between the girls checking him out and the possible awkwardness her ex's presence might bring, she'd wanted everyone to know that they belonged to each other. And while people might think it's a little out of character for her, most are also unaware of the things she's been through, of how much she's changed over the years. Plus how he's drawn out a side of her she didn't really know she had.

Theon's a little grumbly now, asking how long they've been together because neither of them said anything to him, but she just laughs and waves him off — and the others who look like they have something to say — playfully. ] I'm sorry, but that information is classified.

[ She gives the crowd a cheeky grin before steering them away, though they stop by Jaina for introductions. Her twin takes a moment to show them the video she'd captured of Theon, murmuring something about blackmail material. ]

Eat and run? [ That's said in an undertone as they head to the main hall; Jaina's decided to stay behind to chat up some of her other friends. She glances up at him with a smile, reaching up to tuck a stray lock of hair behind his ear. ] We've done what we came here to do. And you're purposely being irresistible.

[ It's the kind of dumb idea he'd expect from high school Robb, not Robb who's grown up and is dating Tal. Though at the end of the day, Jane's doing what needs to be done so maybe he'll think about his bets better before speaking them, holding him accountable for the actual bet.

People grow a lot between high school and college, he did. As did she. Which is why they'd been able to find each other now and settle into this relationship. He won't say it's perfect, they still occasionally fall into slight bickering that takes a minute to get out of because of their past, but it's getting better as they start to grow together now. And he likes the more firey side he's helped her find, glad it's only with him.

And there's the softest chuckle when she tells people the information is classified. There's even a kiss to her temple for it, because it's probably the perfect answer to give them. It leaves it their business and lets people stew around them.

He smiles at Jaina, happy to be introduced properly as her boyfriend now. And the video is honestly priceless. Jaina was smart to capture that moment. ]

Eat and run sounds perfect. [ Fingers tease alone her side easily but subtly since his hand is already there to keep her snuggled close to him. As fun as it had been to help her get ready, he's ready to be out of his suit and help her out of the dress now that everything here is basically done. ] Well, I like when you get all flushed and needy.

Shut up. [ It's said playfully, of course, though her cheeks does flush darker at his comment. She likes to think she's a fairly chill person, but who is she kidding? She's learned quickly that when it comes to him, her fire knows no bounds, and she knows that they'll be all hands and mouth and tongue the moment they get back to their hotel room.

But they've paid the fees for being here so might as well have dinner and get a few shots of them taken, together. People will stew and whisper considering their history, and while she's a relatively private person, this is one thing she actually doesn't mind people knowing, that they're together and happy. ]

I don't want to go to the afterparty since I'm sure there'll be more than just us and Jaina and Jag and Robb and Tal. We can have lunch with them tomorrow.

[ She catches Dany watching them from across the hall and she elbows him subtly. ] I think you really need to say hi, or she'll grumble to your father.
