The Fail!Gift Meme

Everybody loves getting gifts, whether it be for the holidays or some other reason. (Any excuse for being greedy, amirite?) However, sometimes the gifts... aren't quite what you were hoping for.

How this works:
1. Tag in with your characters. You can leave your comment blank, but to make it easier for other people to tag you, it might be a good idea to put up a quick wish list for your character, and maybe mention some things that would really offend them.
2. Reply to others, and decide what kind of fail!gift you're giving them. Use RNG if you like (options below). Was the fail deliberate - do you just hate this person? Or did you really want to get them something nice, but you simply ran out of time, or forgot? Maybe you didn't think you were getting a gift from this person, so you hadn't bought something to give them in return? Time to get creative!

Options written mostly from the point of view of the person getting the gift... Remember, you're the one giving it! (And maybe if you're 'lucky', you'll get one back in return.)
1. It's ugly. You got what you wanted, but... even though you wanted a sweater, you didn't want it to be fluorescent pink. And when you said you wanted a game, you were thinking more along the lines of a video game than a hula hoop.
2. It's clearly for someone else. That doll... was probably intended for your kid sister, right? Did they really forget to get you something, too? *sob*
3. It's obviously for the gifter, not the recipient. An especially crafty bastard may give you something you won't like, just so they can keep it for themselves. Or maybe your boyfriend gave you that movie you know you'll hate but he's been wanting to watch? You can no longer not watch it now that you have it, right?!
4. It's offensive. Giving candy to someone on a diet. Giving steak to a vegetarian. Maybe they're even mocking your beliefs and/or alliances - or your very existence? (I guess this one can be triggery, depending on far you take it? Use with caution.)
5. It's way too big/too small. The gift was intended for you, and it's sort of what you wanted, but entirely the wrong size. Do they not know you at all?! Or are they actually trying to piss you off?
6. It's dirty and/or used. Gift-wrapping whatever old junk they had lying around... That's just not very nice!
