how?
why?
what?
01 induction. a comfortable place, a confident touch, and all the right words to take you under. deep breath in, deep breath out, just lie back for the plain flavor, no gimmicks or special powers involved.
02 the prop box. that's not enough? then how about a spinning spiral, or a swinging pocket watch, a coin or a candle, a flickering candle, that's right, just look at the flame, watch the flame closely, watch it dance in front of your eyes and relax, just relax...
03 simply powerful. deep and hypnotic eyes, a strong and commanding voice, their comforting and soothing touch; that person has more than talent - they have the power to bring you completely under their control, and there is no way to resist... at least not forever.
04 magic! a spell to control your body, a potion to command your mind, an artifact to destroy your will. you might have been enchanted, or even cursed. maybe it was an accident, a lesson gone wrong. whatever it was, it's time for a magical trance!
05 science! death rays are so last season, hypno rays are all the rage these days! and did you hear about that new drug that makes you 89% more suggestible to everything you're told? apparently they can even insert a chip into your brain and-- you know, why don't you see the miracle of science for yourself?
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.
why?
01 therapy something you want to remember? something you'd like to forget? quit smoking, eat healthier, be the best you you can be. whatever your reason, whatever your method, your subconsciousness needs a spring cleaning to improve your life.
02 in good fun you're really looking forward to this! it's a show, it's a party, or maybe it's just the two of you trying something new. entertaining, relaxing, maybe even hot and steamy. kick back, and enjoy the experience.
03 part of the job the latest corporate drug, another monster preying on people's minds, the third alien artifact you dug up this week. you've run into this before, and you will run into it again. but maybe this time is different. maybe this time something went wrong...
04 part of a scheme you don't want this, but somebody else begs to differ. maybe it's as harmless as a prank to make you cluck like a chicken whenever they say your name. or maybe it's as bad as a plot to make you their obedient servant forever. only they know, but for better or worse, you're about to find out.
05 an accident a vacant stare into that magical mirror, blank faces after a gas leak, sparks flying in the wrong direction and suddenly you find yourself chanting 'yes, master' over and over again? looks like somebody was too careless. sure, nobody meant for this to happen, but it did, and now you have to deal with the side-effects.
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.
what?
01 relaxation. all you want is to unwind, switch off, forget about your stress and worries for a while. close your eyes, you'll wake up feeling so refreshed. that is, unless somebody goes a little overboard with that happy and vacant smile...
02 transformation. bark like a dog. moo like a cow. put on this apron, you are the maid now. you're a robot, you're just a doll, you are the president of the world, an adorable baby, the perfect boyfriend- you are something or somebody you weren't before.
03 personality change. people don't change? we'll see about that! there must be some way to make you more assertive, less anxious, more honest, less unruly. maybe something could even change your evil ways! or your good ones, for that matter...
04 submission. this one is all about following commands. any commands. any commands. but do they just want to see you dance to their tune once, or will they wash, scrub and bleach your brain until it comes out blank and obedient forever?
05 seduction. maybe it's something sneaky to charm somebody you just met, maybe it's something sexy to spice up your relationship. whatever it is, whatever you do, it's trance time in the bedroom. and it would feel so amazing to take off your clothes for me, wouldn't it?
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.

"In my country we exchange a polite greeting before throwing around accusations of humor or a lack of it." She teased fixing her golden eyes on Blake. "We also knock before entering someone's private chambers but since I invited you I'll forgive it this one time."
no subject
"No, you just send creepy texts," Blake snapped, not deterred by the haughty attitude. "So drop the spiel about politeness and tell me what you want."
Usually, the cat faunus was composed. Detached. She hid in her books and people usually got the hint. Bullies got bored after a while especially when they were idiots like Cardin whose butt she could kick in the training ring. But, for some reason, it just seemed to encourage Azula. It had gone on for weeks. This was the final straw and now Blake was angry....and afraid. But anger was safer so she focused her emotions onto that.
no subject
"I want the truth Blake. Something you seem to have a hard time with. You lie about who you are to everyone, even the people you supposedly are friends with. So how many of those lies have you begun to believe yourself I wonder?"
She turned the scroll around and displayed a fuzzy picture of some white fang masked Faunus robbing a train car rather violently. But the image was mostly focused on the female Faunus with them who bore an unshakable resemblance to Blake.
"I want the truth about you Blake, you may begin in whatever order you see fit."
no subject
"That..."Blake stuttered, flustered. "A lot of faunus have black hair - so what?"
This was usually the part where Blake would just run, but she had tried that so often and it always failed. Maybe she could just brazen this out. No. The dark haired fire heiress was a massive bully, but she wasn't stupid. Why did it have to be Azula?
".......who have you told?" she asked in a helpless voice.
If Azula had told anyone she'd have no where to go. It one one thing for her team mates to know. If anyone else found out she would never be able to go school, possibly to any huntress school again.
no subject
"So far only you, and if you want to keep it that way you'll show some appreciation that I haven't already passed this along to people who would make your life more difficult then you already make it for yourself."
She tapped her scroll again to remove the image and set it down on the table. "I don't expect proper manners from most of these peasants but I expected better from you."
"So what is a terrorist like you doing in a school like this?"
no subject
She wondered if Azula had managed to piece two and two together - sure, there were plenty of faunus named Belladonna, but the most famous one was connected to a certain organization before he stepped down.
"Besides, if you really believed I was still with them you would have told someone."
Maybe? You're the school's own personal terrorist.
It was hard to tell with Azula. However, most people in Vale didn't have a very positive outlook of the White Fang.

Her tail lashed and curled around a stool on wheels, thrusting it across the room so it would roll over to Blake.
"Sit." she commanded pointing a painted nail at the stool and adjusting her position on her bed. This new position allowed her robe to hang open teasing a peek at her breasts.
"I don't like you, the way you lie and sneak around. The way you hide who you are...what you are. But I respect you more then some of the other students in this school because you're smart. Smarter then you act...but smart." She explained fixing her eyes on Blake's again.
"Smart enough to see that the White Fang had good intentions but went about them the wrong way. That's respectable."
no subject
For a second she wasn't actually sure where she wanted to look until Azula spoke again.
"Respectable?" she repeated. "I'm surprised you see it that way. I was just in denial."
That had been brutally proven when Roman Torchwick came around. What was Adam even thinking?
no subject
She extended a finger and lit a spark of blue flame on it, her semblance. In battle it could be absolutely devastating. In the close confines of the room though it just proved to cast dancing shadows along the walls and cause a sort of shine to Azula's eyes. She idly moved the spark from one finger to the next along her hand, and then back the way it came.
"In the opinion of a Faunas who's been watching you since day one? All this pretending to be a human and running from the white fang has made you hate yourself and your people. When was the last time you felt any pride in those ears of yours?"
no subject
But, the more she looked into the other girl's eyes the more her emotions emptied out making it easier to feel calm.
"I...I...."Blake stammered a bit, but she felt like she was being compelled. Her ears flattened underneath her bow. "Before the White Fang became like it did, I think. The more we proved the humans right, the less I could take pride in what I was. The more faunus covered their faces in those awful masks the more shame I felt. I didn't want to wear one so I covered my ears. Over time it's just become comfortable. I got used to looking into the mirror and that being the way I looked. And...."
Stop, stop what am I doing?! A distant voice in her mind screamed.
" And......................I don't have to constantly defend myself to people, trying to draw a line between faunus like me and faunus like them."
no subject
"The truth feels good doesn't it? Maybe that's why you feel bad so often, because you're lying to yourself and everyone else just to try and make things easier. But has anything really gotten easier? Or just more complicated."
Her tail curled around the stool again and gently pulled it closer to the bed so Azula filled more of Blake's vision.
"Some people just aren't good at handling complicated things. It's OK. It's natural."
no subject
"With my friends it's easy. They don't care what I am. They just let me be me with or without a bow."
Blake's mouth curled into the smallest of smiles. "I feel lucky that even the imperfect parts of me they accept. I didn't think anyone ever would after I left the White Fang."
Her smile fade slightly as if there was a 'but' there. Blake fell silent again.
no subject
"You still worry they're going to abandon you though don't you?"
no subject
"I'm afraid I'll have to abandon them," she replied. "If...if they ever come after me. It's been months and they haven't , but what if I had to leave one day because the past catches up with me? What if Adam doesn't forgive me?"
And dropping that name was not something she ever wanted. Because everyone faunus or not knew how deadly and how dangerous that chapter of the White Fang was.
"I made a promise to Weiss. But what if I can't keep it?"
no subject
Azula didn't mince words but she also didn't break eye contact as she continued.
"For someone who doesn't like to hurt people you're very good at it. Maybe that's why you need someone strong to lead you around...keep you from hurting yourself and others."
Her words were coming out in such a sweet tone for how mean they were.
"Was Adam like that? Did it feel good when you were his?"
no subject
The sound of Azula's voice steadied her slightly and anchored her enough to focus on the question at least.
"At the beginning it did," she answered in a low voice. "Until agreeing to disagree didn't work anymore. He was so sure what we were doing was right and I wanted to believe we were right. That the violence here and there was necessary. But, after a while it wasn't just here and there. "
no subject
"You made the right choice to find someone strong to follow. You need someone you can look up to, but you chose the wrong idol. Someone so consumed with anger and violence he couldn't use you appropriately. And in the end he made you ashamed to be who you are."
Gently, carefully she took the bow off, lowered it and brushed a tear off Blake's cheek.
"You need someone to love you as much as you love them. And since you can't love yourself you feel lost, does that sound right?"
no subject
Her bow fell loose, something that would have made her panicky in her normal state, but those blue eyes already saw everything anyway didn't they? It was ok to be herself here. She breathed out a breath she hadn't known she was holding.
The question was confusing. Did she love herself?
"I loved myself enough to leave at least," she replied after a long pause.
no subject
Setting the bow aside Azula increased the flame on her fingertips in size and cast it out into the room lighting some candles so the entire room was now a flickering, dancing blue, shadows waving along the corners of Blakes vision.
A thick, powerful tail curling around her waist.
"But he never loved you. I bet you'd like to know what real love can feel like."
no subject
"Yes," she admitted in a whisper.
no subject
"Step one: Close your eyes. Feel the warmth spreading through you. Feel the color filling you up."
Taking her hand and holding it gently.
"Step two: Breath in deep through your nose...hold it for a moment and breath it out slowly through your mouth."
The scent of Azula, her expensive shampoo, the smoke and incense of the room.
"Step three:..."
Warm soft lips brushing over Blakes. Tender but firm. A lingering flavor of something sweet...her dessert?
Azula let the kiss linger, drew it out and then parted slowly.
"Now, how did that feel?"
no subject
Fire and smoke and something sweet seemed to fill her nose coaxing her to just go with it and let Beacon and the White Fang and all of her worries just recede into nothing. Something warm and soft and commanding met her mouth. Her own trembled, then hesitated, then slowly began to respond letting herself be lead in this dance.
"I can't really compare it," the cat faunus replied a bit huskily. "Like flame was kissing me."
no subject
Stroking her cheek Azula guides Blake into bowing her head so she could kiss at her ear and then nibble on it.
"I can help you. Let the flames consume you in warmth and comfort. Let them melt away everything that makes you feel bad. Your shadow is strongest under my flame."
no subject
Blake hissed and arched a bit when lips began to tease her very sensitive ears. More sensitive than usual it seemed. It was hard for the Belladonna girl to tell if it was because of the smoke or if it had just been too long. She gasped again. Ok, Azula could melt her if she kept doing this. Fine. She'd agreed to anything.
"Yes," she breathed, though it was hard to say if it were in agreement or to the treatment of her ears. Both.
no subject
"Undress for me...let me see all of you. Exposed, unashamed, a proud Faunus Princess."
Azula leaned back onto her bed and unwound her tail from Blake so she could undress. The Dragon girl had made preparations to have the room to herself tonight so none of her team would interrupt them.
