You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

( and he definitely wouldn't want thor to be taking notes from fifty shades of grey, either the book or film. )

( loki can rest easy knowing thor would never take notes from garbage. he has standards. and, well, practical experience. )

The last time I was tied up, you threw a solid object at my head.

( technicalities. )

Yes, but I didn't tie you up and you weren't being on your best behavior. That hardly counts against me.

[laufeysons]

When am I ever on my best behavior?

Right, how could I forget. My brother, god of mischief and bad behavior.

( can you hear him rolling his eyes, loki. can you. still. not the point. )

I would bear no ill will if you want to say no.
But I'd rather not continue to make a fool of myself.

( he does enough of that without propositioning his brother. )

I'll say yes on two conditions: No more complaining about my books.
And they stay exactly where they are.

( he was never going to say no. but he can't miss an opportunity to leverage a situation in his favor. )

Oh, is that all?

( wait. )

Don't answer that.
Your books can stay, I'll keep my mouth shut about them, and you'll return promptly from wherever it is you've gone off to.
Are we in agreement?

[laufeysons]

'Wherever it is I've gone off to'. You make it sound like the brother to the king, a Prince of Asgard in his own right, doesn't have very important business to attend.

( luckily for thor, he didn't, this time. )

But very well.

( he's dubious of what business loki has that he isn't aware of, but he has to admit to the swell of satisfaction in his chest when loki refers to himself as prince of asgard, and not in a way that's derisive. thor's still settling into what it means to be king, but hearing that title come from loki's lips has, by far, been the thing he looks forward to most. )

Am I not the most important business you have to attend?

Yes, of course. You're absolutely right. How silly of me to insinuate otherwise.

( it's not completely facetious. thor is often the most important thing in his life, whether he wants to admit it or not. but in this instance it also serves to divert thor from asking about what other business, ahem, he might've been attending to. )

[vaerdig]

Your honesty, as always, is greatly appreciated, brother.

( now who's being facetious. )

How much longer are you going to keep me waiting?

[laufeysons]

( he rolls his eyes, though of course thor can't see it through text.

wherever thor is waiting, loki's mouth appears beside his ear a moment later. ) So impatient, brother. ( his hand curls over thor's shoulder. ) We really have to work on that.

[vaerdig]

( a self-satisfied smile pulls at thor's mouth at loki's presence, his breath warm on thor's cheek. )

Do we now? ( he reaches for loki's hand on his shoulder, turning to press his lips against the back of loki's hand, an achingly romantic gesture he imagines will annoy his brother — and which is generally the intent, though the unbridled sincerity that comes with it is hard to bury, simply because thor is thor. ) I think you like it, knowing how desperately I crave to have you at my side.
