TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.

⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.

⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.

④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?

[With as much as he often got asked to do, from great dangerous adventures down to picking herbs for capricious pixies, it was little surprise that Mikh'tan kept a journal. Most might assume it was simply to-do lists, but more often than not he would write out his thoughts or use it as a sketch book in his rare downtime. Like today. He'd taken a full spread to sketch by the time he was done, strange twisting spires and skyscrapers, a rather strange skyline that looked like nothing he'd yet seen especially after he added paints to it, heavy blues and bright purples giving it a strange, dreamlike quality.

Not that he thought anything odd about it. It wasn't the first odd thing he'd sketched. Robed figures in masks adult and child both going about their lives, odd creatures, small doodles and large, room interiors that he certainly didn't recognize. Maybe he'd just seen them in passing. Maybe he was just making things up.

Whatever the case the Miqo'te had uncharacteristically left the journal out on the desk of his room at the inn, pages open so the gouache could dry while he fussed a bit over the vines slowly starting to grow along the trellises on either side of the tall window. He might not be here often, but the act of planting and tending while he was did soothe him. Some small bit of relaxation that was desperately needed.]

[This was not the first time that Emet-Selch appeared in Mikh'tan's inn room unannounced, and it would not be the last. Whether it was to continue previous conversations that were rudely interrupted or just to annoy the other, it was becoming something of a habit.

This time in particular the ascian had stopped by to ask the Hero for details of his last mission, and which one of his merry band of followers screwed up enough to turn a mundane quest into a week-long adventure. He already knew the answer of course- for he was always watching from the sidelines- but it was a lot more fun to provoke a reaction from the Miqo'te.

After observing for a few seconds and confirming that he has not yet been noticed, Emet-Selch takes a seat by the desk in the inn's room as he watches.]

Really? They have you acting as gardener now as well as 'hero of the town'? [He will never understand why Mikh'tan is so willing to take on every chore from any stranger he meets. Honestly...]

A vaunted hero of weapon and magic, yet the strength to say 'no' yet alludes him...

[No one else seemed to understand just why Mikh'tan seemed to be so patient with the Ascian. Why he even protested when he felt the other Scions were being too combative in their distrust. While their goals might not align, Emet-Selch had proven helpful, even if it was in his own uniquely aggravating fashion. And if the Miqo'te being an incredibly lonely person had something to do with his sweet-tempered patience with the man's picking, well he wasn't about to say.

He hadn't been expecting Emet-Selch to visit, which meant his speaking up had the Miqo'te starting, ears flicking straight, though his hands on the new sprouts of the vine that he'd been carefully tending remained steady as he peered over his shoulder at the Ascian lounging at the desk like he owned the place.]

No one asked me to do this, [Pointed out in a shyly amused tone.] I like gardening. It helps me relax. And besides, once the night sky is returned, wouldn't night-blooming flowers just be the best thing for this spot?

[Pretending like the commentary on his inability to say no didn't earn a little bit of an embarrassed flush though.]

[He may as well own the place, because he is just poking through Mikh'tan's belongings while he speaks. Taking coins he doesn't need. Eating his fruit, even though he doesn't need to eat... being a brat, basically.]

I suppose if you wish for something that will bore you to slumber, then you have indeed picked the right hobby.

[Not something that he has the patience for, especially not now, but the comment does tug the corners of his mouth into something resembling a smile. Once upon a time there would be many an evening when they would be under the night's sky, pruning the flowers bathed in moonlight...

He catches himself before that trail of thought takes him any further. They are not the same.]

'Tis more work than you are prepared for. Would you rely on the inn-keep to manage it while you run off on your little adventures? Besides they--

[A glimpse at the notebook stops him mid-sentence and he does not even notice the breath caught in his throat. The image on its pages would be unmistakable to any who laid eyes on it. Fingers trace one of the buildings, smudging the paint as it had not yet dried. Amaurot.

How? Why? Only one such place existed here, and Emet knew for a fact that he had not seen it. Which could only leave one other possibility.. ]

[It could be argued, as a matter of course that Emet was always a brat.

Not that Mikh'tan would be saying as much.]

Maybe so, but with how exciting my life is lately, maybe a more low-energy hobby is just what I need. Besides, there's something to be said for the experience of coaxing a living thing to grow from such a tiny seed.

[They had said similar things before. Laughed at the idea that it might be strange to coax growth in this fashion rather than Creating a plant fully-formed. That the experience was part of enjoying the plantsthey grew.

Not that Mikh'tan was aware of that parallel yet. Brows drawing as he saw the way Emet-Selch all but stopped in his tracks, tail twitching uncertainly.]

Oh, it's not that bad is it? I thought it was rather nice... [Finishing tying off the twine, he dusted his hands off on the sides of his jacket before wandering over to peer down at the pages, ignorant of the turmoil boiling in the Ascian.]

I might do another, of that spot there, [He gestured to a particular gap in the buildings where the purple sheen of leaves was just visible peeking past a wall, fingers not touching the page.] A little park. You know, the sort where people might sit under the trees and watch the world go by as they talk about... oh, anything really.

[Whatever Mikh'tan is saying, it is not being heard. Emet is focused solely on the pages before him, and the skyline it dictates. More and more questions rise up for every second he studies it.

It isn't until the Miqo'te appears beside him, that he begins to pay attention again. But even then, he isn't really listening. He's trying to think of the best, subtle, way to ask.]

Did you visit this city? When?

[Okay that questioning SUCKED but it's all he can manage at the moment.]

[Luckily for Emet and his absolute lack of subtlety, Mikh'tan is more assuming that he was curious about the city itself, rather than how the Miqo'te knew about said city.

The question just earned a soft laugh as he shook his head with a small smile.]

No. I've been dreaming of the place actually... though I admit I'd love to visit the place. It looks beautiful. [A faint tilt of his head, as he considered.] If I'd ever heard of such a place back home I'd guess that I had been there when I was too young to remember. It seems like that sort of place, somewhere I should know.

[Ah. A dream. That manages to make him feel both relieved AND a little sad.]

'Tis a dream, of sorts. Of a place long forgotten by all.

[Cryptic much? He begins to flip through the pages, to see what else lies within.]

...It's a real place then? [That got his attention, ears perked, focused entirely on the Ascian, not even minding when he was flipping through the journal. It wasn't the only thing Emet might find familiar- there were plenty of studies of various figures in familiar robes and masks, more sketches of smaller parts of the city, including a small, messy sketch of a cozy room that was positively bursting with plants of every description a pair of cups steaming on the sill of a window looking out over the street that led down to the main library.

Certainly not the sort of view one might find in the dream Emet had constructed unless they knew exactly where to go to find that familiar room, that was for certain.]

How am I dreaming of it then? It's not the way the Echo usually shows things... and usually they don't go on for this long...

[The farther back, the more vague the sketches got in their detail, but it seemed that from the neat dates marking some of the pages, that he'd been having these dreams long before he came to the First at all.]
