Crimes involving tourists are always jurisdictional nightmares. Moreso when the crime happens to be a pair of suspicious deaths, and the tourists happen to be wealthy Americans with, apparently, connections. Now, it's not just the police involved, but American agencies, and then, because why not? Someone calls in some sort of specialist. To consult.

Hardy is not best pleased by this development. This is his investigation, and he doesn't need civilian consultants. But someone with money and influence went over his head, and now here she is, in his office, and he's been forced to hand over some of the files for her to look at.
