what do

1. Comment with your character with character name and canon in the subject line. Include game if you want, but not required. IMPORTANT! [ Yashiki keeps his voice calm, even, but does little to hide the anger sneaking in and twisting around his words.

He furrows his eyebrows and narrows his eyes; his nostrils are already starting to flare a little. But, really, his dramatic display of "barely concealed anger" is not because he has any real grievance with Constantine.

It's the spirit follows Yashiki that has less than fond feelings towards the magician.

The spirit in question was a powerful psychic in life. When she died, she fixed herself firmly to Yashiki. Why? He has no clue, but she warns him of danger and gives him useful information from "the other side." It has what has helped him when he investigates supernatural events. And with her assistance, he has been able to quell the grudges of spirits and remove curses from a number of individuals and places.

... unfortunately, she had almost gotten exorcised by the man now before him. Hence her radiating animosity. She doesn't have any fondness for those that would keep her from protecting Yashiki.

Yashiki, for his part, doesn't want to seem ungrateful for all the help and guidance that the spirit has given him. So, he attempts to show it in being equally on-the-outs with Constantine.

Honestly, it's a little embarrassing for him. He understands where the magician was coming from, and he doesn't blame him in the least. But one could liken the entire situation to a little sister disliking someone over an honest misunderstanding and their big brother having to take her side over the other party's.

[ His tone is biting, but he eventually falters in his hmphing and grumping at him. It's very tiresome to act this way, and he hopes that Constantine understands the "stress" that he's under.
