you love spending time with your significant other. but sometimes, just "spending time" with him/her isn't enough. you need to have your hands on each other every now and then.

one; hugging. you just want to give your loved one a warm embrace. be it out of happiness, to comfort them while they're down, or just to give them something warm to latch onto, you just want to wrap your arms around them.

two; kissing. whether it's a peck on the cheek or a deep kiss, a kiss good-bye or a romantic kiss, you find yourself compelled to kiss the other person! be as tender or as passionate as you so choose.

three; holding hands. it's a simple gesture, really -- to reach out and take someone's hand. but that one simple gesture can convey any number of sentiments. what the sentiment is, is up to you, but you find yourself reaching out to take your significant other's hand.

four; carrying. is your loved one hurt and needs a lift? do they want a piggyback ride? or do you just want to spare them the effort of walking? whatever the reason, you're now itching to pick up your partner and carry them to their destination.

five; i love you. you've said it before or maybe you haven't but now you have to say it again or for the first time.

six; dancing. kick up the music, because it's time to dance! but no lone dancing allowed -- you need to have a partner! you can do whatever dance strikes your fancy. personally, i recommend the slow dance, but you can do whatever you want!

seven; massaging. did your significant other have a rough day? did they get hurt? or do you just feel like doing something really nice for them? whatever it is, you're giving them a nice massage now. they'll feel wonderful in no time!

eight; flirting. the easiest way to break the ice or maybe you're just an overly flirty person.

nine; cuddling. sometimes there's just no better feeling than curling up next to each other on a warm sofa. hold each other, lie next to each other, fall asleep on each other -- it's all good here.

ten; wild card! reroll, pick an option, or come up with something else!

Usagi let out a sigh as she tried to regain her balance. The enemy that tried to ambush her was tough, but Setsuna’s arrival made things a lot easier. Trying to get her balance, she looked over and smiled at her fellow Sailor.

“Thanks for showing up when you did...” she said, wobbling a bit.

[puruuto]

"Dead Scream," came the whispered attack as it laid into the last of the new enemy's minion, dissipating them from the battlefield.

As the Soldier of Time and Space took in a moment to survey the scene before her, she could see her Princess and future queen standing among the dust and debris of the fight. Another glance around told her that Usagi had fought this alone as she had not seen any of the Inner Senshi lingering within. Her only surmise was that the others had taken the battle elsewhere and Usagi had been led here.

But for what reason? the Senshi of Time wondered.

Something did not make sense to her but then nothing lately ever did.

"Princess, are you all right?" She inquired moving toward her.

“Exhausted.” Usagi said. “Fell for a stupid trap getting separated from the others.” She shook her head. “I’m sorry to worry you.”

She staggered her way over to Setsuna. “There’s no one else here, right?”

There was a small shake of her head as Setsuna answered the inquiry, "Uranus and Neptune were detained tonight elsewhere. I am the only one here at the moment."

She took another step forward and offered her hand to her Princess.

"If you wish, lean on me," she replied with concern tinging her voice. She hated seeing Usagi overtaxing herself as she had been doing so with all these enemies. "I will lead you back to the others so that they may tend to any wounds you may have."

“Thank you, Pluto. I owe you.” Usagi said. Her gloved hand took Setsuna’s and closed around it as she rested herself on friend. Her blonde hair and soft uniform brushed against her arm as she leaned against her.

Setsuna gave her Princess a warm smile she only reserved for Usagi and Small Lady.

"You owe me nothing," she told her. "I am happy to serve and help you out, Princess. It is my duty."

There was a small pause as Setsuna took a moment to assess her princess.

"Do you know what they were after this time?"

“Not this time.” Usagi admitted. “They might be trying to... size us up?” She seemed uncertain on the wording. She’s sure Ami has the right word.

“They didn’t even try for the Silver Crystal. Maybe they didn’t know of it?”

It was such an odd battle...

How oddly interesting...

Setsuna found it odd that these new things were not interested in the crystal. Something wasn't right and perhaps she needed to probe the Time Lanes for answers. It may offer some answers to these sudden attacks.

"You said they lured you away," she probed for further information on the battle. "Explain how they did that."

The more information she could gain from their talk, the more she would be able to discuss this matter further with the other two Outer Senshi.

“They said they had a hostage. I had to go save them, but they nearly caught me when they did. Sharp claws, too.”

The ends of Usagi’s skirt and back ribbon were cut and frayed from where she barely dodged the attack.

“You’re thinking of something, aren’t you?”

[puruuto]

Pluto nodded her head. "But I need to talk things with the others. I think they recently had an incident similar while they were out. The only thing was that they were not separated."

She paused for a moment to touch the brooch at her bow and powered down into her human clothes.

"I think it is best you don't let them separate you from the others again," she stated firmly. "No matter the situation. I will check with the Lanes to see exactly where they are coming from."

"Alright..." Usagi said, nodding. She did the same thing, touching her own brooch to power down. However doing so caused her to stumble just a bit, pressing herself against Setsuna.

"Ah, sorry...!" She said, clinging to her with her other arm.

There was a small fleeting glimpse of concern upon Setsuna's features before it was schooled once more into a stoic look. Something did not seem exactly right about the whole fight but Setsuna would not voice this to her young princess.

Placing an arm around her, Setsuna held her steady knowing the fight must have taken a lot more than she had previously thought.

"Lean against me," she ordered gently as she took slow steps in the direction of where she thought the Inners would still be at. "Once we see the others, I will see to it Mercury takes a look over your injuries."
