Imagine that your canon is a bike messenger agency in a big city. Now imagine that all the other canons are similar agencies all in the same city, what sort of alliances would form? What sort of rivalries?

Maybe the Marvel agency and the DC agency have a mostly-but-not-always-entirely friendly rivalry.
Maybe the Disney ladies have an all-female agency (and woe to anyone who uses 'princess' where they can hear it.)
Maybe the Hunger Games agency is known for being cutthroat and getting their deliveries made no matter what.
Maybe the Hogwarts agency is known for making their deliveries so quickly it seems like magic.

Just give us a few notes about what you think your canon's agency would be like, and your character in particular, maybe let us know where they are and what they're up to.

What could they be up to, you ask? All sorts of things!
Maybe there's a traffic jam, or a parade, or road work that's blocking their route.
Maybe they're back at the HQ doing some repair or routine maintenance, maybe they're checking for an assignment.
Maybe they've got to make a delivery on a rival agency's turf.
Maybe they're making their pickup, or their delivery.
Maybe it's after hours and they're unwinding at the local hangout.
Maybe your character isn't a messenger at all, but a client, waiting for their messenger to arrive.

One would think that Sam, being the daughter of the owner, wouldn't do a lot of field work, but they'd be wrong, she enjoyed the work, and she was out on the front lines every day.

Except right at the moment, because she'd had to jump a curb an hour ago and had ended up with a blowout that she was repairing back at the HQ. It wasn't going well.

Dreamers Deliveries were one of those companies that worked nights, after most other companies had closed up shop. They knew that just because the daytime folks had gone home for the day that didn't mean there weren't still messages and packages that needed to be delivered.

Ariadne knew the city like the back of her hand, and while she was new to the team they already treated her like family. Right at the moment she was on her way to a pickup, her first one of the evening, and she was trying to shake the uneasy feeling she'd had since arriving at work.
