Barry doesn't get to keep much private from his friends and family anymore. Iris and Cisco are by far the worst, going so far as to actually be upset when he doesn't confide in them EVERYTHING. Barry's a pretty crappy liar and not really good at keeping secrets unless he absolutely has too and Leonard is important enough that he has made it so no one knows. Well...Felicity knows because somehow the blond hacker seems to know everything, but she hasn't told a soul and he knows she never will.

Barry smiles and lets himself into Len's home. It's safer to meet there, Barry's home is often invaded without warning by his friends and the last thing he wants is someone walking in on him and Len. He doesn't really mind people finding out but he is and always will respect the others wishes and wants too. So until they both wanna tell people Barry is 100% content keeping it quiet.

"Hey, I got take out." He says shutting the door behind him and setting the bags down before removing his shoes.

( ooc: im a slow response kind of roleplayer. just to give you a heads up- it depends on the day i have bc i'm a full-time worker & whether or not i have energy to write but i am alright with keeping with this thread so long as you are~ thought i should mention this bc the last time i was on this site which was over two years ago, people dropped threads never to be heard from again, after (1) day. )

Snart is a private guy, always has been. Kind of has to. After all, the life he leads isn't exactly the sunshine & roses variety. Enemies are made- the kind that you don't want to know your innermost secrets. They could use that to their advantage in bringing him down if they knew just one little detail about what goes on in Captain Cold's life. Things could go sideways, one wrong mistep & he could lose everything. He's worked hard to be where he's at right now & he's not going to let anything or anyone threaten that.

The fact alone that he was even involved with Scarlet was a surprise even to him. The Thief hadn't anticipated any of this. What they have. The older isn't even sure what to call it. Dating most certainly wasn't his thing but Barry has been coming around more & more & the criminal shows no signs of stopping him. Maybe that's selfishness on his part but Snart can't be bothered to care. Only that if any of his rogues found out- or worse, HIS SISTER, heads would start turning. The kid is a high risk but that's all part of the excitement now isn't it.

Leonard himself had just returned home himself, not yet managing to take off his parka until Scarlet walked in. The older had just finished up hiding away his latest steal of the evening && dividing it with Mick. Leonard doubts he'll see the guy for a week at least.

"Hm. You should be more careful, Mick was just here."

Sneaking a glance over at the food, he was a little skeptical. But could you really blame him? Amusement was laced in his words.

"Looks to me like you hardly have enough of that food for yourself there, Kid. You sure there's gonna be enough for the both of us? Or do i need to go grab something."

Then again, the thief would be content just not eating at all- it's not like he doesn't have money, it's an entirely different reason why he usually opts out of it, but he knows how Barry feels about THAT because THE LAST TIME he tried to get out of eating .. The sap ended up speeding out of his damn house && came back IN A FLASH, with more than enough food. Going that extra mile for him. Disgusting but adorable.

Barry knows Mick just left, he'd been watching...NO! Not like a creeper, Cisco! Anyway! Barry knows Mick had just departed with his share of the heist they had successfully pulled off. Barry had actually tried this time too. Well, sort of. It's a game and sometimes the Rogues win and sometimes the Flash wins. Tonight Len and Mick had outsmarted Barry and it had taken him a little while to get himself off the wall Le had frozen him too.

No hard feelings though. He likes what they have and the banter and the puns..even if they make him cringe sometimes. Still. He likes it.

He sets the bags on the table and gives him a small smile. "I ate some already, while I was waiting for Mick to leave." He admits because he had. "There's enough for you, promise."

Len doesn't eat enough in Barry's opinion but he also understands the possible food issues the other might have. Barry has his own..had his own before becoming a superhero. He understands, truly.

[OOC: No worries, I also work full time and may have a day or two between tags occasionally. I don't tend to drop things so I'm good with waiting if need be. :) ]

Leonard gives an amused sniff at that. A further amused drawl as he asks sliding a hand at Barry's hip, one might say almost affectionately.

"By the way, how's that hip of yours? Still in working order? I did zap you pretty good."

Because ah yes , that did happen didn't it. Flash trying to stop the duo & it not panning out for the hero as per usual. Leonard thinks Scarlet is making crime far too easy for him but it's not like he's going to complain. After all, he never does like going home empty-handed. Everyone is better off with a content villain. Things don't get AS messy that way.

Barry leans into the others touch, it's subtle, but it's there. He smiles softly and shrugs. "A little sore, nothing that I won't recover from. I appreciate you not aiming for my face." Yeah, face shots are a little more difficult to recover from because it doesn't have thermal threading.

"So, wanna eat a little bit? Maybe continue our Firefly marathon?"

"Sometimes I wanna say you look for me when you can't find Red anywhere."

The call to Gotham surprised Frost but she showed up nonetheless when Harley came calling.

"That's not fair," Harley pouts. She doesn't protest that it's not true. She reaches out, pulls the other woman in, presses her face into her hair.

"C'mere, ice queen, don't be jealous."

Her dark blue lips curl into a grin. The meta lets herself be pulled in, her hands reaching up and around Harley in an easy embrace as she puffs a bit of cold air against her ear.

"I don't get jealous. I just don't want to be a plan B when we could tease Mother Nature together."
