Options:

1. The Slutty One: When you're sprayed with this pollen, all you wanna do is bang. All inhibitions go out the window—if you don't get some orgasms pumping out, your whole world is gonna end. Seduction, debasement, that's what this option's all about. Do whatever it takes to get that sweet, sweet satisfaction.

2. The Violent One: This pollen makes you wanna bang, sure, but it also makes you pissed as fuck. Everything's painted in red—the anger's overwhelming. Whoever you see next? That's who's taking the full force of your assault. You don't know if you wanna punch 'em or kiss 'em, but something's gonna happen.

3. The Soulmate One: There's only one person the pollen is driving you to find, driving you to romance, driving you to be with — biblically. And maybe it's not someone you want to be this attracted to, but your mind/body/spirit—everything's saying yes. Even if your sensibility alone says no. Time to hunt out your soulmate and convince them this is destiny.

4. The Touch-based One: This pollen works a tad differently from the others. Instead of dousing an individual and making them need, it waits until they've touched someone. It could be the slightest brush of fingertips, it could be a kiss from an already willing lover. Whatever it is, the pollen's activated, and there's no going back. Every touch feels a little bit better than the last.

5. The Possessive One: This sex pollen is the lovechild of options 2 and 3 — a pollen that makes you crazy about that one particular person. You've gotta have them, protect them, own the moment. There's no one you'd rather be 'sharing' this with, and no one they're allowed to. Jealousy and need taken to the highest level.

6. The Snuggly One: The lightest of all the sex pollens, this variety just asks for some good, snuggly fun. Not necessarily vanilla, but definitely kinder. A hug can be just as good as a handjob if it's from the right person. Kinda.

7. The Hallucinogenic One: Whooooa, man. This is a trip. Nothing's looking quite right, the sky is purple, the ground is pitch black, and the person in front of you looks like your latest wet dream. This pollen clogs the mind and leaves its victim feeling high and confused. What a predicament.

8. The Animalistic One: Speaking of dulled down thought processes—this pollen has removed all of them. Nary a one remains, because now you're pure animal, living in the moment, looking for a mate. Your ability to speak in more than hisses and growls and monosyllabic conversation's been compromised. Let's hope it passes.

"What are you doing?" The voice was that of a sloppy female drunk on the far side of Gotham park, something that shouldn't really be there at half past midnight. "Hey! Stop!"

"Don't worry darling it'll." The man's smug tones suddenly turned into the high pitched scream of a man who'd just been kneed in the balls by a near Olympic standard athlete.

"Bitch! You'll..." A second man cut off as the wind was knocked out of him, and this time Ivy felt her plants react as something large and heavy flew through the protective line of less dangerous plants to land perfectly in the mouth of the Venus flytrap, and its jaws automatically closed.

Rolling backwards as she came to her feet from the flawless tomanage throw and all traces of her feigned drunkenness gone Barbara prepared to first dodge some vines she expected she'd triggered, and then ask Ivy not to kill the scumbag. The mouth of the flytrap had just been too tempting a target, and the game of pretending to be a sloppy drunk to find people to beat up was one of the things she and Harley both did. It would also be the first time Ivy officially met Barbara, and although her disguise was good it wasn't that good.

But instead of dodging vines she felt herself sprayed in the face by pollen. She knew what that meant, including that her backwards roll had been every bit as precise as she'd intended to avoid the vine triggers. "Well, fuck."

He sucked in air, fingernails digging into bark, eyes raising to scan the immediate area.

Hope flared in his chest when he caught sight of that familiar silhouette. Wei Ying. Wei Ying would have a better idea than most about how to fix this. He likely should have left as soon as he'd handled the transfer because there was still plenty he had to do at home but he'd been talked into the banquet and staying the night to get some rest before he headed back to Yunmeng.

Which would have been fine but there was something off and he could feel it, his gaze continually seeking out Jin Guangyao as he tried to focus on anything else.

Until he finally had to leave the room, excusing himself with a thinly veiled comment about needing air and while part of him wanted to go to the head table, embarrassing himself wasn't happening. He slipped into one of the gardens, inhaling slowly as he tried to calm himself down, even as heat spiked through his body, his eyes closing, head dropping forward.

His robes are heavy on his skin, his pulse racing and he can't think about anything but what he'd been seeing in the banquet hall, his mouth going dry.

Someone was going to pay for this.

[Sometimes you try to be a good tree of a human and help out at the florist shop, because your boyfriend is so small and cute and can't actually reach the top shelf when the possibility of customers walking in exists. At least, Minseok does. He does try. Oh my god does he try. Even now, trying to shelve up some empty pots around this strange new flower he doesn't actually recognize, which is a little strange. Normally Namu doesn't put anything brand new on the floor until it's settled from whatever voyage led the cutting to his store. Ah, well.

Minseok tries to ignore the big ol flower, and he'd have been successful too, but when he accidentally jars the pot it seems like the bloom reacts. Almost like ... a gasp, or something? It definitely swelled up. Minseok stares and leans in to figure out what just happened and doesn't have a chance before the thing explodes into full bloom and hits him in the face with a cloud of perfume cloud.]

"Holy shit!"

[The coughing only accentuates the burning feeling at the base of his throat, now spreading into his chest. Minseok doubles over from the force of it. He swipes at his mouth and nose, choking and rubbing his eyes. His vision is definitely starting to swim.

He leans heavily against the shelf opposite the asshole flower and tries to breathe in air. Clean air. But all he can smell and taste is that pollen, though it's not an altogether bad flavor. It somehow reminds him of Namu.

Oh, so does the soft moss blooming across the windowpane. That just makes him giggle. It's very Namu-like. And something Namu would probably like.]

Flowers grew thickly in this area of the swamp. The flowering vines curled around trees and carpeted the ground, even though very little light reached through the thick canopy above. Wei Ying set his feet carefully, whining about the muddy ground and wishing that they hadn't left Lil Apple back at the inn. None of the flowers opened even when he tapped at them.

People had been reported missing in this area, along with strange occurrences, but all of the reports seemed very vague and Wei Wuxian felt like there was something they weren't being told. But so far there was no sign of evil spirits, only the strange flowers. Even Wei Wuxian's evil-seeking compass found nothing, only spinning around and around in confusion.

They had just reached a soft, mossy hill and a little clearing as the moon rose. White light cut through the trees and the flowers unfurled. "Do you think there's something strange about these flowers, Lan Zhan? They're so large. I've never seen flowers like this before."

He leaned in to investigate just as the flower in front of him spurted out pollen, spraying him with a faceful of sparkling white dust.
