When it comes to the way affection is shown, everyone has a different way they go about it. That means that there's a pretty good chance, with regards to couples, you could end up with two people who have two varying approaches towards how they prove they care...sometimes radically varying, which can lead to more than a little confusion or hurt feelings if there's not proper communication. But when both people are on the same page, they can tell each other how they feel with few words.

"I know you want me to be a little more 'open' with you, but it's...a little odd of me to be this forward."

Satori's always the kind of person who won't outwardly play her hand in terms of affection. But with Remilia, as long as she's alone with her, that's quite different. It started out with meaningful glances, then turning to a gentle, quiet movement closer. And then, of course, a subtle indicator of her love - the mind-reader's third eye brushing up against her elbow, as if it was conveying the depth of her emotions while the rest of her seemed quiet.

...And then, she cracks a smile, catching Remilia's chin and pecking her on the lips, all of a sudden.

"...But that's exactly what you wanted, isn't it, Remi? You have a lover who knows exactly what you want, and you think I'm too afraid to act on it?"

Of course, Remi can probably just about taste the blood rushing to her cheeks a little.

"You got what you wanted, at least. Be thankful...~"

While Satori knew everything that Remilia was thinking, especially when it comes to the love she felt for her girlfriend, Remilia could only guess what she was thinking.

She probably should had seen it coming from the second Satori moved closer to her, surprising her with that kiss and causing the vampire to blush herself.

"Oh my stars..." It was exactly what she wanted... even if she was caught by surprise. She responds with a soft kiss to Satori's cheek.

"...As someone who claims to be able to scry people's fates and make everything happen as you'd like, you're certainly predictable in matters of the heart. Then again, as hackneyed as this sounds - even if you brought us together by manipulating my fate or the like, perhaps that's a better fate than most."

Of course, to cover her embarrassment, Satori talked her way out of it. It was her way, after all. She leaned into Remilia a little more, wrapping an arm around her and following that up with one of her tentacles around her shoulders as well. She squeezes her girlfriend tightly and seems altogether satisfied. So far, anyway.

"Among my kind, mental compatibility is prized over the physical side of things. But I'm not opposed to a little of both. I'm just...not always that familiar, I suppose. Koishi and I are two halves of a whole in a literal sense, but there's something else about you."

She chuckles a little, a surprisingly warm smile tinged with a slight bit of apprehension.

"I wonder what that is? Could you tell me?"

"This needed no 'nudging' on my part. You and I were destined to meet."

She happily cuddles back, embracing her in turn and letting Satori keep her close. She kisses her softly on the lips.

"If I could hear your thoughts... I'd like that, if you could make it possible." In some ways it felt more intimate than anything physical.

Satori accepts Remi's kiss with a warm little smirk. Even if she's blushing adorably from being caught off-guard a little, she bounces back a lot quicker than before. She knows it's coming, after all.

"Mm, I could try. But it might be a little difficult. Satori like myself are more attuned and used to this sort of thing, but it's...widely considered something deeply personal. Compare it to the normal hangups on human mating, but ten times worse. You're effectively sharing minds as well as bodies." She mumbles to herself a little as her third eye adjusts itself projecting gentle waves of calming hypnosis to ensure Remilia is relaxed. It's gentle and warm, like a blanket around her psyche giving her that extra bit of care.

"...You'd have to let me in a little further than you usually do. While my third eye can see into your surface thoughts, there are things it can do that aren't strictly limited to that. But they're limited to the conscious mind. With hypnosis and a few little tweaks, I think it's more than possible."

She leans back a little, pulling her closer, tighter. "And in exchange? Maybe you'd be able to see me the way I see you."

Well, Remilia trusts her, so she will go right ahead and let Satori in deeper to her mind, letting the hypnosis take hold so Satori can do her work.

[Would you be alright with a demon? I don't mind AUing him to better fit the same kind of demons in DA-verse if need be. Lucifer is a mother-bear kind of person who is mostly up-front about matters and won't mince words to say a bad thing (or even a good thing.) Admittedly, I've also taken a look at Fenris's kink list just in case you'd like for things to go that way at any point. :) Lucifer is primarily a gift-giver as well as a provider. <3 His canon is still incredibly new, and I haven't played through all of it yet, but if you're okay with that, I'd like to see how things go! <3]

[Definitely up for it though Luci would have to be secretive about his true nature. Fenris really doesn't like demons but he has succumbed to at least one demon (and then hated himself for it). So as long as he's sneaky about it, he should be fine.]

[ Luna's been gone for over a week, closing in on two weeks. Usually, Nyx is one of the Glaives to accompany her on her official trips -- ANY trip, really. Nyx, Libertus, Pelna, and Crowe; she's a lucky woman to have such wonderful people, such wonderful friends to help keep her safe. But Nyx is so much more than just a friend, he has been for a long time now. But duties to the King kept him in Insomnia this time around, and the normal party of five dwindled to four.

It's why there's no hesitation as she unlocks the door to their shared apartment and slips in, quietly placing her luggage on the floor by the door and slipping her heels off. It's late, a little past one in the morning, and while she doesn't intend on waking him, she does long to be close to him. She tip toes down the hallway and into their bedroom, not bothering to get into her nightgown because all she wants right now is to be in his presence.

She slips into bed with Nyx, wrapping her arms around him from behind and effectively forcing him to be the little spoon in this cuddle, but something tells her that's probably not a problem. Or it wouldn't be, if he were awake. All Luna knows is that at his side, she is finally home. ]

[The apartment is always quiet whenever she's not around to fill up any given space with light, and Nyx wasn't much of a deep sleeper to begin with. After the battles he's endured one learns to wake up and go at the first sign of an attack. The click of the door is faint, but unexpected, and Nyx tenses to move. It would take him less than two seconds to reach his kukri if someone has decided to intrude.

But then he recognizes the quiet sounds rustling from the hall and all that tension flows right back out of him in relief. He doesn't open his eyes when she enters the room, the warmth of sleep creeping close again now that he knows there's no danger, but he smiles as she climbs in behind him. He knows full well that she's perfectly safe out there without him by her side--he trusts his team more than anything in the world--but there's nothing like the moment he can have her in his arms again.

Or in hers, as it so happens. Nyx takes a deep breath and shifts into the hold, tilting his head towards her.]

Welcome home.

[ Luna is happiest at Nyx's side, and now that she has finally found her way back there, she's going to be very hard pressed to move. Their apartment is warm and cozy, their bed is soft, and being able to take in everything that is Nyx is enough to make her eyelids heavy. She releases a soft sigh now that everything in the world is right again.

Her eyes crack open, however, as Nyx shifts enough to where she can lay eyes on that handsome, albeit sleepy face of his, and she flashes him a smile as she leans in in to press a warm kiss against his lips. ]

Thank you, love. Forgive me for awakening you... I was going to sleep on the couch to keep from disturbing you, but I did not want to startle you when you awakened in the morning.

[ Unable to help herself, she leans in to steal a second kiss, this one lingering just a little bit longer than the first. ]

Besides, it has been a week, and I have missed you terribly.

[ Phone calls and text messages only go so far, after all. ]

Mm. [He hums into the kisses, delighted to draw the second one out a little longer. It's a soft, lazy kiss, as if he couldn't think of anywhere else he'd ever want to be in that moment.]

I heard you come in.

[Quiet admission. He doesn't like to admit when he's having trouble sleeping, but she's been with him long enough that there's little sense in hiding it.

He lifts a hand to trace his fingers over her arm, drawing patterns into her skin.]

Need to talk about it?

[ She knows Nyx well enough to know his little quirks, like his sleeping habits, and she is not surprised to hear that he'd been pretty aware when she came through the front door. ]

I'm sorry, love. I hope I didn't startle you.

[ Knowing Nyx, he was probably ready for anything regardless, but she still doesn't like the idea of startling him to the point of having to feel like that. But what's done is done and at the very least, they can settle in together again.

Nestling against her poor beloved, she fins her smile widening at his affectionate touch, though her head shakes. These trips that she has to go on aren't always pleasant -- even with the scourge nothing more than a nightmare, there are still sick, injured, and dying people. Her work will never truly end, and they've seen some pretty bad and upsetting things. This particular trip, not so much, fortunately. ]

No, everything went well... do you need to talk though, dear?

[ He's having trouble sleeping, after all. There may be something on his mind, and the last thing she wants is for him to have to keep it to himself. ]
