There is self moderation and then there is my curse. No amount of release valve or self awareness can control the curse I bear. I can only quell it behind illusion when I must, and that is moderation. No, I do not burnout. I have learned to walk away or re-evaluate.

Why choose to look like us, then? I know your original form can’t be perceived by humans, but why do you choose to look like a human when you could be anything else?

[It’s a genuinely curious question. He has to imagine that Lucifer’s sentiments regarding humans and non-human creatures is probably different from the hierarchy of how most humans usually perceive humans as being more valuable because they have speech, and other higher brain functions.]

It does not. Telepathy is more direct and has less incidence of miscommunication.
