For you and your companion, it's all about firsts: first crush, first love, first fight, first confession, first kiss, first time, first adventure to certain death together - you know, as you do. There is a first time for everything, after all, and they say you never forget your first.

First Kiss: Is there anything sweeter?

First Date: Are you super awkward and nervous or getting on like a house on fire?

First Meeting: Dropped your groceries? Bump into them on the subway? Party? Fender bender? The options are endless!

First Anniversary: You've made it an entire year without killing one another! Time to break open the bubbly.

the fact that they're not enemies going head to head as they had before helps a lot, Nero being who Nero is... not so much. still, he's being good because he doesn't want to invite Master's wrath towards his direction in any way.

Robin sidles up next to the woman of roses, glancing down at her briefly before looking towards what she's staring at -- their Master in the middle of a crowd of Servants, all vying for their attention in their own ways. they're tired but smiling.]

This is a first. The little emperor not shooting to be the center of attention? Do you have a stomachache?

[maybe the reason they don't get along is partly that Robin is a politely rude shithead. no, definitely.]

{Upon hearing the Archer of Green's words, Nero turns to face Robin, with her green eyes, trying to hide the fact that she wanted her Master's attention only to herself, but knew better than to throw a fit so publicity in front of the others! She crosses her arms. Her tone is her usual emperor self. So, prideful.}

I do not have a stomachache, O Archer. Why are you not aiming for Master's affections then?

honestly, he expected her to shove herself in the middle of it. make herself be noticed by their Master. he's a little impressed, and curious, that she's holding back like this since it doesn't seem like her. it would be like Robin fighting for her attention.]

[like red and green are contrasting colors. like living in the shadows and blooming in the sunlight are contrasting entities. Robin and Nero contrast each other in every way two people CAN contrast each other. perhaps that's why despite thinking he doesn't want to be involved with her, he's drawn to talk to her. opposites attract and whatnot.

Archer...Are you alright? Is this an attempt to flirt with me, the red saber? Have you fallen ill?! Shall I call upon the medical servants?
{Nero blinks her eyes at Robin. Is he... Trying to woo her? (the answer is no, he isn't) Wait... Has he fallen ill to something? Has Cupid really stuck him?! (Still no.)

Red and Green clashed against each other, yet Nero couldn't help but was attracted to the Robin. Did she wish to get herself involved with Robin? No, but it did not meant she was not allowed to chat with him.

She places her hands on her hips, before nodding.}

I cannot believe I am saying this, but I agree with you. So many Servants, so little attention spared.

[Nero's head is not so far up her own ass that she really believes that he was flirting with her, right? RIGHT? his expression goes flat. a question like that doesn't deserve a response. it doesn't. try to make small talk with the emperor and she thinks you're flirting.]

Sitting in bed and booting up her laptop, Sooraya logged into the chat server she'd been growing used to: it was supposed to be primarily practice to help with the speed of her typing in English, but the conversations she had were enjoyable, and without needing to risk being assaulted in public she'd grown to like talking to people.

There were so many backgrounds and interests and personalities out there, and unless she told them, nobody had to know she was a mutant, or a Muslim, or anything else. The easy, largely unquestioned anonymity was surprisingly freeing.

She smiled when the window finally opened.

Thomas, or Click, as everyone outside of family and work called him, was already online. He tended to hang out online even when he was working. He was a gifted engineer, and his bosses had learned that he worked better with his phone or tablet dialed in than he did without. Of course, he rarely told them what he was doing online. Which was mostly chatting, about science, about magic, and about fantasy most, but he also talked about renaissance faires, since he worked at one during the season.

Ever since he was a kid, he loved magic and computers both, but also, just plain creation. And in a renaissance faire, he had found a smith, a man who created by will and effort, and he had fallen in love with teh craft. Years later, he was now a skilled smith and often worked the faire, producing trinkets and bunted swords for the faire goers, and more sophisticated pieces f himself and occasional collectors who met his price of both money and interesting commission details.

Today, he was flipping through the various chats, looking for an interesting conversation to dive into.

Sooraya was happily chatting in a room that focused on leisure activities: she had precious few that were social, though she enjoyed football and played quite well. When talk turned to the renaissance faire, she went a little quiet looking up the general ideas about them.

Stopping in, he dropped into the conversation on renaissance faires, contributing his own experience and asking how others enjoyed them.

Here in Philadelphia, we have several, but my favorite is West Course. We've got a new faire coming up soon, taking the place of an old one. It's going to bE a blast!

He loved sharing his experiences in ren faires, and listening to others do the same.

I've never been to one, but I live in NYC. Not very far from Philadelphia, do you think it would be worth it?

She'd also never traveled that far alone, but it might be fun. She could always come back if she didn't like it. People were always telling her to actually get out and do things. I don't know if I have anything that really counts as a costume though...

If you are coming in, I would advise booking a hotel, and coming multiple days, so you can see everything.

If you truly are willing to take your suspension of disbelief offline and enjoy it, it can be one of the most fun experiences in the world.

OH, that is okay. We do keep a rental and buying wardrobe area, so you can rent an outfit, like renting a tuxedo, as you wish.

I think I would enjoy seeing everything, but I don't know about renting clothes. I don't wear the same kind of thing people here usually do. It exposes quite a lot.

There are more covering outfits, but you don't need to put on costumes to come in. Just dress as you are and enjoy yourself.

And I would be glad to give you a tour sometime, if you want.
