The LEAP THROUGH TIME Shipping Meme

You're in love. If you came to that conclusion easily or kicking and screaming, it all leads to the same point. You're head over heels, so shouldn't the rest of what you need to do be obvious? They return your feelings, check. The relationship could be wonderful, check. Why not take that final leap and commit?

There's one problem. A big one, actually, one that could throw everything into a tailspin. You're not from the same time as them, maybe not even the same world or timeline. Meeting the person you've come to care so much about has all been a fluke, as you were thrown into their lives by some kind of temporal accident and you've always intended to go back home. You still intend to find a way back.

You can't get comfortable here. You don't belong in this time. Whether your present is their far future or you're from the past, it isn't right. And who knows what damage you could cause?

Still, you're in love, and the consequences of your actions aren't exactly at your highest priority, or they're quickly falling from that peak. The ramifications may get even hazier if, say, you know the fate of the person you've developed feelings for, whether through personal experience or public knowledge. It would be extremely tempting to try and save them, wouldn't it? But you can't. You shouldn't.

You don't belong here. You have to find your way back.

Feel free to play anything that falls under this umbrella. Maybe your character has just found themselves in a new time, or they're having loving ~emotions~ towards this person they've met, there's a culture clash, there's seriousness about how they need to get home, there's fun, or anything else. Possibly, you could even play the tearful moment when they're leaving - or the joyful when they've decided to leave their time and come back to be with their lover!
