sunday texting

Sometimes, you just want to text somebody. No reason, no sexy stuff, no special time of the day. You just text that sucker. Sometimes it's even a wrong number! The world is your oyster, if your oyster has unlimited texting. Which, presumably, it does. You know what to do! Leave a top level and text people! Live free! Get weird!

[ So did sleep aids. ]
Wow, I don't think I've ever talked to someone who actually plays violin properly, or thought of doing it professionally. It sounds like a good hobby.
Understandable, I work as a tailor. Far from glamor.
I'd love to visit France, my grandfather was french. He used to talk about Paris before he died.
[ He wasn't a tailor at all, legally though he did work for his mother. Even if he never worked there at all. ]

Whatever puts money in the bank, right?
France is beautiful. I haven't been since I was in school, but Paris was lovely.
no subject
This exactly, gotta keep the tax man off our backs and the girls in school.
If your ever there again send me a picture. I mean I could google it but it feels cheap.
no subject
Probably won't be for a while, but sure.
It's your turn to ask a question.
no subject
Hey, I got nothing but time, seriously.
Okay, What’s your dream car?
no subject
I've always wanted a Lexus; I have no idea why, I've just always liked the look of them. Or an Impala; they're gorgeous.
But, I have young dog, so...until he's a little calmer on car rides, getting a more expensive car will need to wait.
[ The backseats were already scratched and chewed to hell and back. Just thinking about that happening in the back of a Lexus or a Chevy makes her want to weep. ]
no subject
Lexus' are pretty nice for a newer car. Impalas to, but I prefer the old ones. I just like old cars, I got a old Rivera.
Yeah, dogs are hell on seats, I tend to keep a blanket on the back seat when I have to take the dog somewhere with me. It helps until he pulls it down.
no subject
Oh yeah, the old ones are the best if we're just going for aesthetics. That's one thing you lot have over us. Old American cars are great.
Seats, cushions, a friend's well-loved hat recently...
What breed do you have?
no subject
You guys don't have old muscle cars over there? I guess that makes sense though.
Oh no, sounds like they have fun though. Ayida's a mutt, I think she's part collie, but she's the most loyal dog anyone could ask for.
[ A minute or so later, a picture comes ]
no subject
She's adorable is what she is.
[ In return, he gets a picture right back ]
That's my boy, Hades.
no subject
Isn't she though? I've had her for about 7 years.
Aww man, Hades is a looker to. What a great shot!

It'd be kind of a dick move to ask why you're proud of your younger sibling. The whole sibling pride thing should just be in-built, assuming you get on well. But she sounds wonderful.
Thank you. He's huge already and he's still got a lot of growing to do. Good thing he enjoys training.
no subject
Yeah, see that makes sense, and yeah we mostly get on well. We all do, theres five of us and mom. Our old man took off just before the youngest was born.
Yep, that checks out for an amazing good dog. But man he'll be huge if hes still growing.
Okay next question; Whats your favorite movie?
no subject
Doberman's get pretty big - I think males can get up to 100lbs..? That'll be fun.
That's a hard question, God...the original 'Halloween' is pretty great, but 'The Exorcist' is fantastic as well.
'The Babadook' is up there too. I don't know if I can name just one.
no subject
Oh yeah, that's gonna be a good big boy there.
Ahh, a horror girl, awesome. Horror wise I'm a sucker for the Friday the 13th movies, even the campy ones. I can watch them all. Outside of horror my favorite is Princess and the Frog, that movies just great to watch anytime. Who cares if its a cartoon.
[ He just loved Dr. Facilier, he will never be that cool. ]
no subject
Have you seen 'Hereditary'..? That movie fucked me up.
[ What's this? She's gone from amused indifference to genuinely enjoying a conversation with another human?
It's a Christmas miracle, Mr Spock. ]
Animated movies can be just as good, if not better than some live action films, in my opinion. It makes it so much easier to suspend disbelief when it's animated as opposed to just a load of half-assed CGI.
no subject
I haven't, but I know what I'm watching tomorrow morning. Will report back after with thoughts.
[ And he would. God time differences, he'd have to learn that in time. For now he was just pleased to talk to someone about horror movies and well, anything of interest.]
Oh my god, THIS. THIS exactly. And on that note, give me practical effects and make up monsters before CGI. Vincent Price didn't need no stinkin' CGI.
no subject
Yeah, let me know. It's not the director's first time behind the camera, but he's pretty incredible.
YES! Like in 'The Thing'? The effects in that are still so fantastic, I still get grossed out with the dog scene.
no subject
I know he did Midsommer, and my older sister has been yelling I will love it, I just havent got around to it. Im not the type to see movies in theaters.
YES EXACTLY! Man, The dog scene was hard, but such a great movie.
no subject
How come..? Not a fan of cinemas?
no subject
Not to be sappy and all but, my old man took me and my younger sister to the movies to see Super 8, he dipped out before it was done. So yeah, that's my reason for hating going to theaters, and how my old man walked out of our family.
no subject
...I kind of want that on a shirt.
[ She can completely empathise with the whole 'parent leaving you out of the blue' thing, but that's not a conversational can of worms she's keen to open already more than she accidentally has.
So instead, she settles on; ]
That's shit, I'm sorry.
no subject
Eh, shit happens then you die. That's both my answer and the shirt I would make.
no subject
I mean, you're not wrong.
You're lucky you still have your mum though.
no subject
Oh, yeah, completely. I'd never give her up for the world. But, I was raised family comes first, everything else comes after, so, I'll always be bitter on the old man walking out.
