( the downside to sharing a bed with humans, aside from the fact that between the 'human' thing and the 'works for a demonic law firm' thing it's almost impossible to completely relax enough to let her guard down aware as she is that doing so might result in losing her grip on her glamour, is mainly that humans (especially men) are incredible heat sources. gwen lasts a while in bed beside him, the book she'd decided to swing by with personally since she was in town anyway still actually in her slim overnight bag, but in the wee hours of the morning she's already found his shower and turned it on cold, soothing.

she'd turned the coffee machine on before she got in; she doesn't immediately emerge again when the water turns off, but has found and is trying on his cologne. )
