[ one of the downsides to working remote outposts was the amenities were never something to write home about. small rooms, hard bunks, absolutely no privacy. it's a pain especially when it came time to clean up after a particularly lengthy span without being able to take one's armor off. Raven's hair - a point of pride for her - was not within regulations but she had the record to back her up so no one really questioned her on it. took absolutely ages to get clean, too. it tends to make others who went after her impatient.

she's barely done rinsing out the shampoo when the door to the single shower stall opens and she's face-to-face with her compatriot on this little assignment, all stripped down and ready for her turn. Raven's eyes linger a bit longer than necessary to size the other woman up before she meets her eyes and smirks. ]
