[ Those weeks came and went, and as promised, Ashe manages not to get shot or injured and makes it to Figaro as planned. Still preferring to sneak in through Edgar’s window, she crouches down next to the lock, grabbing the key from where it hung around her neck by a chain. Once inside, she shuts the window behind her and then reaches into the bag hanging from her shoulder, withdrawing a neatly wrapped package to place on Edgar’s desk. B.O.B. had only finished the sweater about an hour before she’d left, and she’d tucked a couple of other things into the box as well.

Now to wait, which is easier said than done when she is absolutely not in a waiting mood. Between her exhaustion after working nonstop for almost three straight weeks and anxiously waiting to see him again, her patience has worn a bit thin.

Dropping her bag on the floor, she sinks down into Edgar’s chair, resting her head on the desk with a soft groan. Impatient as she’s feeling, she could also drop off to sleep in any given moment, which is exactly what ends up happening. Falling asleep at any desk is easy when she’s done it so many times before. It’s a shame, really. She would have preferred to come up with a more creative way to surprise him. ]

This is a novel concept, one she has had trouble reconciling herself with, but the more she ponders it the more content the idea makes her. She can go places when she likes, without notifying anyone unless she wants to. She can speak with whoever she likes, or not speak with whoever she likes. If she wants to ignore someone, she's under no obligation to be polite to them.]

[It's been several days now since the 'incident' at Uenoyama's apartment this past weekend. And ever since that time, Uenoyama has pretty much just gone silent. No calls, no text... not even a chance to encounter Shuu at school, seeing as the boy did indeed end up skipping school entirely for two days.

But now Uenoyama has returned. The moment he stepped foot on school grounds, he pretty much had a never-ending line of encounters with various concerned acquaintances; all of whom noted just how strange it was for him to "fall sick" badly enough to call for a two-day absence. While it was a bit annoying to answer to the same questions repeated over and over to him, there was nothing Uenoyama could do but continue giving his curt replies to ease their worries. (Oh, the struggles of unintentional popularity).

The small buzz followed him even until lunch time. Uenoyama ate his bread while idly chatting with a small collection of girls and guys. It wasn't a terribly annoying conversation, and Ue even occasionally offered up his commentary on this or that-- but ultimately, even his friends noted to him that he seemed more distracted than usual. Before his quiet mood could get him any more concerned questioning, however, Uenoyama got up to excuse himself. Someone caught his eye. A certain someone he's been both looking out for and dreading to meet at the same time.

He approaches.] ...Hey, Shuu.

[Long time no see. And yet, all things considered, Uenoyama looks... normal. He looks the other boy in the eye, with straight posture and a plain expression; neither warily keeping his distance nor behaving overly familiar. His hands are in his pockets.] Got a sec to walk me?
