Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture. I N N O C E N C E - one of you is much more worldly, and to ruin the "innocence" of the other feels unclean. F E R T I L E - you aren't supposed to find mothers or fathers sexually alluring. however, there's something so enticing about fertility...perhaps even pregnancy. C O R R U P T I O N - society expects you to treat your partner well, not try to destroy them through sexual degradation. N O N C O N S E N S U A L - consent is rightfully important to a healthy sexual relationship. to break that trust is taboo.

For his brief time at the Officer's Academy Valter had been invaluable for his overwhelming skill with a lance and on a wyvern. In tandem they made him a deadly foe and a powerful ally, but his tenure didn't last. He defected from the Church before long. However from his time there he knew that the growing enthusiasm of Rhea's students would lead them easily into any trap. It was laid by Valter's men posing as bandits, wreaking havoc in the area to lure out a response from the Church that Bernadetta had the misfortune to be a part of. Valter's surprise appearance on the battlefield as well as the real threat of these "bandits" were surely the factors that led to his swift victory.

They left few survivors, but among the enemy Valter found a treasure. Bernadetta von Varley, hardly scathed and soundly unconscious. Even as she slept the look on her face begat some minor distress, which was just as he remembered her. So he scavenged her from the battlefield to take as a prize.

He made his encampment on a sizeable farmstead. Tents were pitched to accommodate his men, with some even tending to the fields to support their provisions with fresh-grown food. Valter took up living in the main house, which was shared between him and some of his best men. It was comfortable though far from extravagant. Bernadetta was going to have a time of it, whenever she awoke. In her sleep Valter stripped her naked and took the liberty of hucking all her clothes and belongings into the fireplace. Then he'd bound her arms and legs so that they were all snugly folded. It left her with some mobility, she could perhaps still get around by crawling on her knees and elbows. It would have been a funny sight to see, he thought. And, remembering how easily and how loudly Bernadetta screamed at just about anything, he gagged her. He stuffed a rag into her mouth and then repurposed a horse bit from the stables to keep it in, using a rope to tie the bit in place in her mouth. It was made tight, with the bit past her lips and kept form going further only by the rag and its metal edges pressed into her cheeks.

After dinner and after some drink, Valter lay on some furs with Bernadetta on her back in front of him. He wrapped his arms around her bound legs and kissed her between them. His lips sucked gently at hers and his tongue pressed up into Bernadetta's warm body.
