[The twilight was welcoming. It was almost like a dream. Maybe in some weird way, it was. She would be sleeping by her lonesome, safe in her little dorm room away from home. Daria found a hole open up on her wall, by her favorite Kafka poster.

There was something odd about it, and her drowsiness was an indicator for her to believe for a while that it couldn't real. So she would go back asleep.

Only to awaken a few moments later to find the hole still there, but there were writings now lined around the wall in the hole and out of it. Maybe she was still dreaming, but she now sleepily reached for her glasses and put on her ridiculous pink fuzzy slippers (thanks Quinn). She looked to the phone in her room, wondering if she should call someone. Her RA, Jane, her parents? Yeah, call them and tell them in this "dream" that a wormhole appeared in your room. That's not the caffeine overdose and stress overtaking her.

Alright, mysterious wormhole, fine...Time to be Dr. Who. If this was a dream, then Daria had to act it all out until she woke up.

Except when moving around, she had to bubble down the possibility that this was real. Her sleepiness wore off and her careful investigating felt more urgent as the wormhole soon grew and swallowed her room. Daria could still reach for the phone, as she bubbled her anxiety of the situation. But...no, no one would believe her. Whatever was happening, she realized it was also far too late now. Daria felt her body be pulled inside, and for a while, it was cold. The air was cold and dark. At some point, she closed her eyes. She felt ground, and a warmer but still dark world was around her. Daria's body went limp, and no one would know she was anywhere or nowhere. No one would be the wiser that she was someplace else.

Because, again, who would believe her?]

[ Being on the battlefield facing down people he considers friends was bad enough. Everything about the way things are is bad enough, really, and it's more than Sylvain has in him to not just turn his horse the other direction and run away from all of it. He nearly has done, several times, and he's considering it again now. Even with Dimitri somewhere behind him and watching. He hates this. He hates it so much, and he's about to hate it even more.

Dimitri orders him after the healer. Sylvain from his angle up on his horse can tell who the busy healer is that's ruining all of his King's plans. It's Linhardt, the gentlest least war-like man Sylvain has ever met. He's frightened of blood for Sothis' sake.

He hesitates, gripping his lance far too hard. Did you hear me? Go take out the healer! Sylvain grits his teeth and heels his horse, taking off at a canter.

He pulls up just short of Linhardt, though, riding in a circle before he faces his adversary again.

There's some woods between them and Dimitri, and some distance, too. He's going to take a big, big risk.]
