Love must have a certain passion behind it, to be sure, but not all passions are the same. The two of you love each other, and certainly romantically - or at least you're working on realizing that - and you're...not sexually intimate, or not in the way many would suspect. You're not ready for that yet, you're following the rules of you're society, you want them to know how serious you are, you're too busy or uninterested, you don't want to "dishonor" them in any way, or that's simply how both of you are comfortable: there are a number of reasons why you'd choose a romance of chastity, and none of them make the feelings between you any less valid.

Of course, no sexual intimacy doesn't mean no intimacy at all. Holding hands, resting of heads on shoulders, touching, kissing on other places than the mouth, spending time together, confessions, or giving gifts can show your emotions towards each other just as easily. You may only want to do these things away from the prying eyes of others, however. And, understandably, you might want to take those milestones slowly and carefully, the same way your relationship has blossomed.

...especially for confessions. For the type of love you two share, you don't want to admit to anything too idly.

How to Play

I wanted to make a meme like this because I thought the idea was darling and fresh, and it could apply to so many types of characters! It's the bread and butter for fantasy types, would be good for kids and the younger character sets, and despite how "badass" they are, it's pretty much shounen idiots to a T. There's very little romance proper in those canons, and it's all understated and unspoken if it's there at all. For a better write-up about all this, check out the TVTropes page!

Mostly finds himself falling head over heels for younger men; class is unimportant and he could as easily fall in love with a hired model as he might with a titled man.}

Of course things never really work out like Len plans. Something almost always goes wrong. He’d died...or well he meant to die. But somehow it wasn’t as permanent as he thought it would be. He isn’t sure how or why but he just woke up. Just he was dead and then he wasn’t.

Once he got his bearings he realized a lot of things had changed. Central city was different a lot of time had passed. It felt a lot like Gotham did...dangerous. Sick. Full of despair and sadness. He’d gone in search of team Flash because surely they wouldn’t have let things get like this. But he’d found STAR labs pretty much deserted. Well until he came across a familiar silhouette. He couldn’t see the face but he spoke anyway. “Scarlet?”

Of course STAR was deserted. Team Flash deserted everything, eventually, didn't they? Him included. And now they were scattered to the wind, Frost was in a special wing of Iron Heights and Barry Allen was God knows where doing God knows what. No doubt working with someone to trap or trick him yet again.

Whatever. He'd be ready for it.

He wasn't, however, ready to hear that voice. The voice of someone he was sure was as dead as Iris was. As he himself should be. Then again, with the Legends who the hell even ever knew?

"Snart. Did they call on you, then?"

Barry’s voice...but something seemed off. Different. This wasn’t the same Barry Allen he remembered.

“Not sure what you mean by that. I have no idea what’s going on, was hoping you and the science crew could figure it out. I don’t even know what year this is.”

"Oh. Somewhere around 2020, I think. Maybe 2021." He hasn't really been watching the calendar, what a shame. He shrugs. "What do you mean, exactly, by 'what's happening?'"

Still not turning to face Snart, not quite yet. "I doubt they'll be much help. Caitlin is...in Iron Heights. I expect Cisco's still in the hospital." After his fight with Frost and all that.

“Shit...”. There was a chair and Len had to sit in it. Hard. It creaked ominously but held him. “That long? Really?” He was surprised. “Barry, What happened? Why is the city deserted?”

"Interesting phrasing, for a time traveler." Snart's question gives him pause. "Is it?" To be fair, he hasn't left STAR labs in a very long time. Why should he? What is there for him?

“I lost more than 5 years, Scarlet. It was 2016 or 2017 when I died at the Vanishing Point. Barry What happened?” He asked again needing to know why everything seemingly went to hell.

"Don't call me that." He hasn't been that in a long while, has he? "What does it matter?"

Len is a little taken aback by the fire and anger in that order. Because it was an order not a request. He tilts his head in confusion, calculating, watching the other man before him. He was still looking at his back...was this not his Barry?

"What happened to you?"

That got him turning around to face Snart, and oh. Maybe those scars are why he was turned away? Maybe not, it's not as if he knew Snart was coming here, did he? "What happened to me? Nothing. Nothing that matters." Not to any version of him, apparently. Not to his friends or his family.

If Len was shocked by Barry’s face it didn’t show beyond a raised eyebrow. “Huh. I’d figure an incident that turns one face into hamburger would be memorable. What happened to the Flash remaining a hero? Was that tech we liberated from a giant man shark not effective?”

"Hamburger." He gave a mirthless sort of laugh, then shook his head. "Like I said, Snart: not Barry Allen."

“Do you prefer Swiss cheese?” He drawls leaning back in his chair. “If you’re not Barry Allen then who are you?”

He snorts. "You really don't know? All that time on the Waverider, you've never run into time remnants?"

"Not that I remember. So, you're one of Barry's Time Remnant's did you call it? So what you're like a clone or something? All the memories and pieces but not is that it?"

"I'm not a clone. Guess that's as good as any other description, sure." He snorts. "I'm very obviously not Barry."
