3. Control - you've given them some kind of potion to get your love interest to love you in return and they have to do whatever you say.
4. Recorded - you're not really interested in this forbidden love affair, but you must do it or you'll face some tough consequences.
5. Insult - you're cornered by those who disapprove of your relationship, hearing how filthy you are.

3. Ending fight - the argument has turned dirty and ends with one of you storming out.
4. Parting ways - both of you have decided to part ways. It's just so much easier.
5. Always love you - though you'll always love each other, maybe it's time the relationship goes back to being strictly platonic. It would be easier... or maybe that's just how one of you feels.
6. Other - is there another scene you'd like to play out? Want to combine something? Do it here!

idek what exactly we’re doing but Targaryen AU bc reasons *throws rules out the window*
Jane sat on the windowsill of her favorite tower in the Red Keep, legs dangling dangerously and in a very unladylike manner as she surveyed the damage to King's Landing. The First Order's armada had come under the cover of the night, and while they were soundly defeated and sent back across the sea, their catapults had managed to set fire to several of the capital's structures.
That's not what's bothering the princess, though. It's not even the fact that Kylo Ren, the First Order's most feared warlord, had managed to slip into the city and take her, dragging her all the way to the shores of Blackwater Bay before the royal army managed to retrieve her. No, it was simply the truth: of the face that stared back at her from behind Kylo's helmet, of the chilling things that he'd said to her.
We are the true heirs to the Iron Throne, little sister. You are Rhaenys Targaryen, daughter of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell. You will help me avenge our family, and you'll start by destroying that bastard claiming to be next in line.
It's a lot for her to take in, so she's sneaked past her guards — she's had a lot of practice with that, having always had a mischievous streak since she was a child — to climb up to the tower for some air and time to sort out her thoughts. All her life, she'd believed that she was Jane Organa, princess of Alderaan, betrothed to Aegon Targaryen, prince of Westeros.
Aegon Targaryen, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.
Right now she doesn't know what's worse, finding out about her true family and that they’re out for revenge, or that she's hopelessly in love with her... half-brother.
When do we ever play by rules?? 😏😏
What was also bad, was that he hadn’t been able to stop and see her for too long. Just long enough to tell her he’d be back as soon as he could. As Prince, he had a duty to see to his people with the King and Queen. And there had been no arguing with his father
their fatherto get out of it once Jane had been safely returned to her room.ThereMs a minor fear when he finally makes it back to her room, to once again find it empty. A flashback to last night. The key difference here is that her guards now look dumbfounded and panicked that she was gone. No one was dead.
He told them to stay and let him know when she returned, which calmed them a little, before turning to slip though a few passages that lead through the keep faster than the public hallways. He knew her spots, partially because they were good at sneaking to them for late night meetings.
When he gets to her favorite tower, he doesn’t try to be quiet, because he doesn’t want to startle her as she sits with her feet dangling out the window like that. His footfalls are even against the stone floor, and when he’s close enough he’ll slide his arms around her waist to draw her to rest back against his chest as he kisses her temple gently. He doesn’t know what Kylo told her, just that she’d nearly been kidnapped. “Are you okay?”
never because these two love to do their own thing lol 😏
You are Rhaenys Targaryen.
She'd yelled at Ben then, that he was lying, that he was making up stories just because he wanted to seize the Iron Throne. True, King Rhaegar first married Elia Martell, but she'd died, and they had no children. Her brother, however, had shown her a signed confession by their adoptive mother: that their adoptive father had been contracted by Oberyn Martell to smuggle little Aegon and baby Rhaenys out of Westeros and to deliver the children to their allies across the sea — to House Organa of Alderaan. That as a way of paying it forward, being a war orphan herself and adopted into the Alderaanian royal house, Leia had adopted the siblings, too.
Jane couldn't refute her mother's hand, or that the document wasn't genuine, as it bore Alderaan's royal seal. Which meant that Ben spoke the truth.
"Aegon." Even her betrothed's name now feels awkward on her lips, because Ben had said that that was his real name, the name their real father had intended for his firstborn son and heir. "Your Grace." Aegon will find it strange, for sure, that she's addressing him by his title, because even in public she tries to get away with not calling him that as much as she can.
You are Rhaenys Targaryen, daughter of Rhaegar Targaryen.
She doesn't want him to worry, though; he gets broody on occasion, and she's never liked seeing him that way. So she leans back against his chest, resting her hands over his and squeezing gently. She's always felt so comfortable around him, and she's taken that as a sign that they've always been meant to be. Now she wonders if that's only because they're related.
"Are the people alright?" It might seem like she's deflecting, but not totally. A part of her's been worried about the people, too.
Yessss 😏 😘
Last night had not been easy on anyone. Least of all her, for the kidnapping attempt.
She may not want him to worry, but when she calls him by his title here, in private, it does worry him. She’s never called him by his title in private before. She hated doing it, and truthfully, at least for her, he hated when she did. While growing up a Prince, Aegon is far more humble in some ways than other royalty.
He’s only slightly comforted when she leans back and rests her hands on his. One of his hands shifted to lace with hers, twining their fingers gently. It still rings weird for her to have used his title. It’s something that doesn’t sit right with him.
Nor does her deflecting the question, but he knows she loves the people as much as he does too, so that one he’s not as worried about. He’s seen her put others before herself, so in some ways he’s not surprised she wants to know about them first.
“There were some casualties, and there will have to be some rebuilding. The fires they started did damage to homes and people. It looks like, save the guards who they killed to get in and out, the people we lost were from the fires they spread as a distraction. Not planned, but not caring about the innocent lives in their way either.” His hand laced with hers squeezes gently, his tone soft, because he never likes to lose people.
Dipping his head, his lips find her temple and he places a gentle kiss to it. “How are you, my love?” Because he’s answered her question and hopes she’ll let him know how she’s doing herself now.
no subject
She does squeeze his hands again, though, before she shifts to move away from the window and back into the tower, her movements easy despite being in a dress. As weirded out as she is by what she's discovered, not being honest with him feels even more wrong. They've gotten to a point in their relationship where they don't have any secrets, save for little surprises they treat each other to every now and then, and she's not about to start keeping things from him, even if the thought of things between them changing terrifies her.
She reaches up to tuck a stray curl behind his ear, though as always it refuses to be tamed, and she has to smile. There are some things that never change.
"What if I'm not really a princess, Aegon?" The hitch over his name is barely noticeable this time, at least. "Will your father call off our engagement?"
no subject
Fingers brush along her cheek gently, his features softening for that smile from her. When he dips his head, it’s not for a kiss but to rest their foreheads together. He doesn’t want her to hide anything from him, he wants to share any burden she might be carrying, to give her support so she’s never alone. He’ll be by her side always, if she lets him.
His brows furrow a little at her question though. “I wouldn’t let him, Jane. My heart is yours, now and forever. You don’t need to be a Princess for me to love and marry you.” Shifting his head, he kisses her very gently. “You are my Queen, no matter what.”
no subject
Ben had to be lying. Because this shouldn’t be how it feels to kiss your own brother.
“No matter what,” she echoes, though it comes out unsure, a question. She rests her forehead against his, closing her eyes. “I love you, my prince. With all of my heart.” Her hands grip his shirt a little tighter. “But I’m not who you think I am. I don’t even know if I believe it. I don’t want to.”
no subject
Aegon's not sure he wants to be right, if there's anything wrong with who they are. Because being here like this, kissing her like this, feels right.
"No matter what," he confirms when her echo has that lit of a question at the end of it. He nips her lower lip a little, smiling when she tells him she loves him. Though there's a questioning look for the rest of it, one of his hands coming to rest over hers where they grip his shirt, not to stop her from doing so but to remind her he's here, that she's not alone. He'll help her with anything he can. "Believe what, Jane? What are you talking about?" Because he's very lost in this right now. Stealing another soft kiss, he gives her a look. "Talk to me, Jane, what weighs on you so heavily?"
no subject
Although his questions bring her back to the matter at hand, to the subject she’s already started to breach. Reluctantly, she draws back so she can look into his eyes, and though she smiles at him, it’s muted, sad. “Ben is Kylo Ren.” It’s the easiest to confess, because it doesn’t change anything about them. Except maybe make Aegon a little more protective of her, knowing that
theirher brother was the enemy. And then she can’t look at him. “What do you know about your father’s first family?”
no subject
The fire between them doesn't die as she looks at him, as she gives him at least some of what's on her mind. Though it does simmer down a little as his hands shift so he can wrap his arms around her and hug her to him. It makes some sense now, why they went after her. Not why in what they wanted with her, but why in that they targeted her specifically. Her brother wanted her, though gods knows why. "Jane," he breaths softly as he kisses her temple. "Was he trying to keep you safe while attacking me then?" Because he's not completely sure what the motive had been, but then they didn't stop to ask while they stopped the attack either.
He's not fully getting that she can't look at him though, because as her eyes slide away from him, he tucks her head under her chin to keep he close and offer her comfort. To him, he thinks it's more because she's unsure or ashamed to find this out, and to have to share that her brother is the person responsible for the attack last night. Her own kin. Jon's fingers stroke along Jane's back gently, not sure where she's going with the question about his father though. "That she died, and he fell in love with my mother shortly after, that there were no children from the union." Truthfully, he wouldn't get why his father would try to hide he had children originally. His mother knew who she was in love with, who she was marrying. "Why?"
no subject
She doesn’t answer that question, though. Instead it’s the other one she deals with, inasmuch as it doesn’t seem to have any relation to Ben at all. “No, Elia Martell had children,” she offers softly, burrowing into him. “A son, and a younger daughter.” She can’t speak for Rhaegar, but from the wording of Leia’s confession at least, it seemed like the Martells didn’t want to deal with questions as to why the crown prince had cast aside his first wife.
Jane shifts a little to peer up at him, her expression unreadable. “The First Order has come to destabilize your father’s rule. Ben’s making a bid for the crown, Aegon.” She doesn’t have to spell it out for him, she knows he’ll get it.
But she leaves the other matter unspoken. Maybe if they ignore it, it’ll go away.
no subject
Dipping, he nuzzles her hair as she burrows into his arms and warmth as he waits for her words, giving her all the time she needs. The information though sits in his Brian as he tries to take that in. A son, and a young daughter. How could his father have not fought to keep his siblings? And then it registers a little more, coupled with her new offer of information. “He’s...”
The rest of what he might have said slide away as everything hits home as he watches her back. If Ben is making a bid for the crown, then Jane is the young daughter. His half sister.
His heart beats faster as he rests his forehead against her’s, worry siding through him. Does she want to leave him? Does she want to side with Ben? But she wouldn’t be here, in his lap if she did, right? He doesn’t close his eyes, so it’s easy to see some of the worry that sides though his eyes, the pain, before he takes a slow breath.
“What... do you want?” His hands knead her hips a little, pulling her tighter into him in the hopes that she still wants him. There’s a soft brush of his nose against hers, wanting to kiss her again. Even knowing she’s his half sister, all he wants to do is kiss her, claim her. “Do you still want me?”
no subject
But her worry did not have anything to do with crowns or thrones or her parentage. She was concerned, more than anything, about what Aegon would think, how he would react to the news. The Targaryens were known for keeping things in the family, but King Rhaegar had broken tradition in his time and had even specifically chosen a foreign princess to be his son's betrothed. And now...
"I don't know," she starts to say, and she wishes those damned three words weren't the first out of her mouth, but it's too late to take them back now. He's not pushed her away, though, which is a good thing? In fact, he's pulling her closer, and she easily obliges, shifting to lean in a bit more. "I don't know, only that I want you," she clarifies. She clutches at his shirt tighter, her silent plea to not let her go, in spite of everything they've just discovered. "But I'm... I'm your..."
She can't bring herself to say it. As if saying the words would make it real.
no subject
Aegon’s not sure how to take what their parents have done, how their parents have been chaotic enough to lead all paths here. But Jon can’t put his feelings back in, he can’t just turn off his heart. And despite this new information, he doesn’t want to have her any further away. He knows his family, no, their family, had a habit of keeping things closer. Their father could have set him up with his Aunt who is about the same age, but instead he had pairs them together, he and Leia.
Fingers tighten on her hips, rolling her above him a little as his body responds to her above him, to her closeness. His heart pauses when she answers with I don’t know, because God’s this is where she sides with Ben and leaves him. And when she clarified, his heart beats again, and instead of letting her fumble with words, instead of letting her try to finish that thought, he claims her mouth in a hungry kiss. He knows, she doesn’t have to say it.
He doesn’t even question it either, if this information is true. She wouldn’t be in knots if she didn’t believe it. Ben wouldn’t have sieged King’s Landing if he hadn’t believed it true, with some kind of proof to the claim. But he doesn’t want to discuss the family relation anymore.
There’s a low sound info the kiss as one hand slides up her back and into her hair. “You’re my Queen. My Heart. No matter what.” He echoes his earlier words, making sure she knows that he still means them. That so long as she wants him, they’ll figure it out and be together.
no subject
That's for her and Aegon to think about in another time, though. Because the next thing she knows, he's kissing her, family relations be damned. Her heart feels as though it's being squeezed, but in a good way, like he's binding her to him so nothing can tear them apart, not even their own families, his words only further strengthening that bond.
"No matter what," she repeats, and this time she's sure, determined. There's even a need in her voice, one that he'll pick up on when she presses herself against him to kiss him back deeply, hands sliding up his chest to rest on his shoulders.
no subject
The kisses are heated, claiming, and his touch draws her closer to him because all he wants is to feel her against him. For him, so long as they're sure of what they want, and they're on the same page, they'll work the rest of it out together. If she wants to confront their father later about it, he'll stand beside her and support her. He won't let her brother take their throne, oldest heir or not. Jane will sit on it before Ben does, Aegon would see to that, if only because he's sure Jane will make a kind and fair Queen. Ben, well, they both know he has anger issues. That never makes for a good king, look at their grandfather.
Groaning at her words, his fingers slip under her dress to tease along her thigh, hand kneading it as he rocks up under her a little. He's needy in his own ways, his fire back to a blazing inferno now that she's kissing him back, that she's determined. She feels so good above him, and suddenly he's feeling like they're both wearing far too many clothes.
no subject
Ben’s words had been clear: You'll start by destroying that bastard claiming to be next in line. She’s not about to side with the family asking her that. Because this is where she wants to be, with Aegon. And if that means standing by him on the Iron Throne, opposite her mother’s family, then that’s where she will be.
A pleased noise leaves her throat as his hand slips beneath her dress again, and her moan grows a little louder when she feels him shift under her. She’s always sensed the fire brimming just under his skin, but he’s never forced himself on her or made her do anything she wasn’t comfortable with. And, gods, knowing he was her brother should’ve killed that fire, or cause his kisses to leave a weird aftertaste in her mouth, but instead she feels a sort of hunger she’s never known before. Dark, dangerous, desperate.
She nuzzles against the side of his neck, gasping softly, breath warm and ragged as she rocks her hips against him.
no subject
Truthfully, if Ben had gone around it better, Aegon might have actually stepped down to his older brother, content to live as a prince with his love instead of king. But because he's attacked their city, all it makes Aegon want to do is curls around Jane and dig his heels into their stance, protecting the city Ben was willingly burning in his wake.
All Ben's done is prove he doesn't deserve to be King. And wind Aegon tighter around Jane.
Aegon has always been very much the gentleman, even while feeding the fire between them. He doesn't want to force her, he doesn't want to push her faster than she felt she wanted to move. So even now, if she pulled away and just wanted to be a makeout even with as hard as needy as he feels it'd be okay. He's happy to just be curled around her, snuggled together, honestly. But as she rocks above him, against him, his fingers tease along her inner thigh, tracing soft patterns as he tests this new bit of territory between them.
"Gods Jane," he groans as his hips roll under hers again. He'd strip her and take her in a heartbeat if she said to, but as always he doesn't want to push either, or take advantage because she'd started this moment confused over everything that had happened or been revealed.
no subject
But until then she's just... not going to think about it. It's already difficult to think of much else, really, other than how good it feels to have Aegon wrapped around her like this. Oh, they've made out. A lot. Kisses in the dark, and even several times in their beds, though fully clothed and usually slowing into good old-fashioned snuggles. For all his fire he's always managed to rein himself in, always considerate of her wishes and desires.
She's not sure what spurs her. Maybe it's the knowledge that she's half-Targaryen, the affirmation that she too is made of fire. That what she's been made to believe as right or wrong isn't exactly black and white. Or perhaps it's simply the thrill of being touched in places she shouldn't be, of doing something she's been told she shouldn't.
She kisses up his throat, mouth and tongue teasing his skin as she rolls her hips over him slowly, sensually. When she reaches his ear, she whispers, "I want you to touch me." He used to almost always stop to ask if she's okay with something he's doing or about to do, if it's what she likes; while super sweet, it eventually exasperated her that she'd resorted to just flat-out telling him what she wanted. "Feel me, taste me, make love to me. I don't care if you're my brother." The word spills out of her, yet it strangely seems to no longer hold any meaning. "I love you, Aegon. You're all I want, and all I need."
no subject
It's also hard to sit and argue that she's a rightful heir to the throne that she'll be marrying into anyway. Coupled with Aegon being very open to her thoughts on the kingdom, their people, and how things should go, honestly the only one missing out on their birthright is Ben.
Aegon's always known she was made of fire, he'd felt it simmering under her skin. But he'd always thought that it was just her. That she was special. And well, she still is, and she pulls at the fire in him. It sets him on fire to hear the soft sounds from her throat, to feel the way she rolls her hips above him. His eyes close as his head tilts for her mouth and tongue, groaning himself at how good she feels, and then there are her words.
It's not that he wants to make her spell things out, honestly. It's that he's seen too many soldiers and other men be rough and just take what they want with no care for the woman they're taking from. And he never wants her to feel like that. He wants her to know that she always has a choice, always can say no. But gods is he grateful she's saying she wants him. His fingers not under her dress slip up to tug at the ties and bindings that keep her clothed with a soft sound, head turning to catch mouth with his in a kiss. "I love you, Jane, and you're all I want and all I need as well," he breathes as his fingers slip to touch and tease her gently under her skirt, finally finding that spot he's always wanted to touch and tease. He wants to taste her too, but he wants her out of her dress for that, so he can watch the way tasting her makes her move for him. Just need to stop long enough to get the damnable layers off her.
no subject
This is her choosing him. No matter her name, no matter her legacy, she'll always choose him. She'll want answers from her father — their father — eventually, but at the moment nothing is more important than the fact that they're tangled in each other like this.
She kisses him in turn, moaning against his mouth at the feel of his fingers working her dress and working her, though she nearly buckles when he touches her beneath her skirt. "Aegon—" Her hands leave him only so she could help him get her dress off her, expertly tugging on the ties and bindings even as she continues to kiss him. Because suddenly it's just not enough, the hunger she's always felt lurking within her demanding release.

Still, he was determined to fulfill his duty. That stoic Lightwood stubbornness reared its ugly head. He would secure this alliance and maintain his family's control over the New York Institute.
On the outside, he was smiling as Lydia finally finished walking down the aisle. On the inside, the darkhaired shadowhunter was a complete mess. He could see his mother looking so proud. His father at her side with his younger brother Max. All eyes were on him. On them. Even Lydia looked beautiful and radiant. She wasn't asking for love, but he could see the hope in her eyes. She was smart and tough. He couldn't ask for a better wife.
And yet...
He was starting to sweat. His skin itched and suddenly the room seemed to close in around him. He couldn't breathe! Alec had to fight the urge to tug lose the tie around his neck. His composure was starting to slip and he knew Jace could sense it. He'd never had a panic attack before, but he knew the signs.
He felt his resolve falter. This wasn't right. He couldn't do it. He couldn't go through with this charade and for a moment, he felt completely ashamed of himself. At a loss for what to do, he turned away from Lydia. Facing Jace, he didn't hesitate at all to close the distance between the two of them. Acting on pure instinct, he reached out to grab his parabatai by the nape of his neck, dragging him in for a kiss that shocked the entire audience]
