That sure was a hell of a nights sleep. You wake up, feeling well rested (or not if you have insomnia or some shit). You think about breakfast, stretch and -- hey who's god damn leg is that because it's certainly not yours.

It seems you have a guest. How did they get there? Are they welcome? Or are they three seconds from being kicked out?

That's what the RNG is for. (Or picking your own. We don't care. We won't judge.)

Here's how to play, as if we haven't done these steps before.

1: Post with your character and preferences.
2: Find someone in the meme to tag.
3: Use the RNG to find your scenario!


Scenarios:

1: A wild party the night before! Is this even your bed? Is this even your house? What happened last night? STOP HOGGING THE BLANKETS!
2: Movie night! You fell asleep on the couch, curled up under a blanket. Hopefully, it was a good movie and hopefully whoever you fell asleep on won't mind at all.
3: One of you wasn't feeling well, the other was there to play nurse. Let's be honest, you were totally faking that head cold or whatever, weren't you? You sly, sly, son of a --
4: This is just how you two roll. It's your routine. You sleep together often, you wake up together often. Now snuggle, you don't have to be out of bed for a while.
5: Study date! Listen, the history of cheese is boring. It's not your fault if the two of you fell asleep while memorizing the different kinds of cheddar.
6: Make up your own!

So far, "freedom" seemed to consist of a lot of traveling. And hiding. And disguising. She understood the why of it, of course; HYDRA had conditioned her very well, carved its doctrine across her skin in more ways than one, but it was still exhausting, particularly for a creature who had been engineered in a laboratory, raised in a kennel, and taught to mimic human mannerisms, actions, and demeanors in order to become a perfect, if inherently savage, killer.

But at least she wasn't alone. No, the Asset - Bucky, as he constantly insisted now - had, by some miracle, 'persuaded' the hybrid to kick off HYDRA's traces once and for all without realizing that he'd be inheriting his intended replacement as a bewildered tag-a-long, although they'd done a pretty good job of adapting to each other, considering both of them had been trained at the highest levels imaginable to do just that.

But Bucky - she knew it was going to take forever for her to get used to that particular name - favored colder climates, and while Blue again understood why, for a hybrid with a reptile-based heating and cooling system, it seemed she could never, ever get warm enough. Which was why she was currently shivering in her thin sleep, both arms and legs wrapped around the human-shaped furnace beside her, clinging to his right side like a limpet.

A particularly sharp shiver woke her from the fitful slumber and Blue startled, but didn't let go; she simply yawned, blinked tired blue eyes, and tried to burrow a little deeper beneath the blankets, claws digging gently into flesh beneath layers of fabric. She was hungry, yes, but getting warm took precedence.

[ Harry Hook had been over a lot since Evie broke her ankle, 'accidentally' falling asleep at her place (he says accidentally, evie calls camel crud but shhhh), and Evie had bought a bigger bed because of it. Her reasoning? He was a bed hog. But the truth was, she didn't mind having him there. She didn't mind waking up to his head resting between her shoulders, or her head resting on his chest.

It was nice to just have him there.

She wasn't sure entirely when things started to change between them, and she wasn't going to question it. Whatever it was, it worked for them. She enjoyed it.

She enjoyed it a lot. Especially the mornings where she wakes up and finds he's wrapped as much of himself as he could around her. Like this one.

It was always an entertaining way to start her day, trying to ease herself out of the koala hold he has on her without waking him up. She's never successful, but that's part of the fun.

So here she is, blue hair a mess from sleeping, head tucked under Harry's chin and his arms tight around her, trying to move carefully and get out of bed without waking him.

She wakes at the foot of the bed with a pounding headache, blonde hair a tangled tussle in her eyes as she squints at the light blaring through the shades. Groaning, she shuts her eyes tightly and curls up closer to the warmth of the body next to her, leg curling in around his and face burying into the crook of his shoulder. ]
