[MACUSA balls were more than just stuffy work parties. MACUSA went out of its way to make it the party of parties. Everyone wanted to come to them. They were glamorous, glitzy, and big. The music was always hot and the clothes even hotter. Everyone, and that meant everyone, wanted to be able to attend a MACUSA ball.

The times were changing and so was the music. Jazz and swing was coming into full motion, setting the dance floor alight with energy and smiles. It was all good fun. Women's dresses were getting shorter and they sparkled and moved with their bodies. It was a dazzling time.

Although, perhaps, it was more fun for those who are more social. Those who easily blossom under limelight or around people. Maybe it's not quite as fun for those who might be more inclined to keep to themselves. The night was still young, but it is definitely getting on by. The more upbeat music has fallen to something more calm. More classical.

Queenie, of course, loved attending. She loved dancing and the energy, so of course she was having the time of her life.]
