It's the oldest question of all, George. Who can spy on the spies?

- comment with your character.
- respond to others
- they've given you a number and taken away your name
- it's time to go undercover; to pretend to be married to your best friend, or your worst enemy. it's time to repel off a building, jump out of a helicopter, and singlehandedly dismantling evil schemes all over the world. don that suit, that wet suit; strap your exploding pens to your legs, and tune your tiny two way radio earpieces to channel three. alternately, be the bad guy! the civilian! go bond or la femme nikita!
- have a grand ol' time
- but be WARNED! this meme could contain lots of blood and violence, and general dark themes. please list your preferences and pay attention to other peoples preferences.

That was fine. People feeling like they knew what to expect was just what he wanted: it meant they'd generally stop paying attention completely. So, when a chat with Kate Stewart tipped him off to a possible infiltration within UNIT prior to her taking charge--prior to this face being added to their records in late 2012--he went about investigating. Undercover, of course. He wasn't supposed to be in their records, yet, after all.
After all, who wouldn't find "John Smith, Professional Engineer" a convincing cover? It was really the "Professional Engineer" that capped it off, in his opinion. Nothing to deflect a human's interest like unnecessarily stating the obvious.
First things first, though--he had to get his desk arranged. Not often he had a desk. Wasn't totally sure what went on it. Probably a computer, some papers, some widgets--and so there he could be found, settling in.
Which is to say, covering his office desk with random things so it wouldn't look so empty.]
Here for it
She stalked down the hallways towards the Engineer's offices, practically fuming. Six weeks in America? Why would she be spending six weeks in America? That just seemed ridiculous. No reason for her to be in New York, there were so many other people who could go instead.
'Great learning experience', they told her. She'd be able to be part of their counterintelligence squad. It sounded like a whole lot of people talking over what was actually happening, that's how most of the spies who worked with UNIT were.]
Hello? I'm here to pick up my supplies.
[No one acknowledges her at first, so she heads over to the first desk. A Mr. John Smith. Oh, that's a good one. The Doctor would appreciate that. She's almost expecting to see the Doctor at the desk, but it's some younger man she's never seen before.]
Excuse me, I'm looking for hardware and ammunition? I'm supposed to pick up something before I head out.
