unexpected domesticity shipping meme. you never thought you'd have a home, at least not one you can call completely yours, no strings attached and no one lording above you or controlling you. you may not have even known what a "home" truly is, or thought you wanted one. now, there is a touch of domesticity in your life, no matter what things are like otherwise, because you have a home, though you may not have a house proper.
most importantly, you now have someone to share this new facet of life with - a partner. similar to you or completely different, relationship unspoken or unrealized, heavily romantic or understated, they are slowly but surely becoming someone indispensable to you. you never could have seen this coming. and, of course, with domesticity comes a certain amount of intimacy, perhaps even the ultimate physical intimacy...you may be open to that already or you're working up to it when you'd hardly considered it before.
whether your situation is for the long term as it stands, could end at any moment, or a mere disguise you're using to lay low, you're getting comfortable. how does that make you feel? will you it accept a new lease on life - or will you sabotauge yourself before someone else does?

(Eliot doesn't know what he's thanking him for, but instead of opening his big, dumb mouth again he settles for kissing. Gentle, affectionate presses of their lips together. He parts his own, taking Seunwoo's upper tier between his own lips to nurse first, and then the lower. He's kissing him completely, entirely, his hands touching gently and affectionate over his cheeks, grasping at the graceful length of his neck.)
(He's never been kissed like this, ever. Not a day in his life... And it feels incredible. Like something he was missing but never knew about it... It echoes deep within his soul in a way he's never felt. He falls deeper and deeper in love with him with one gentle movement after another; his hands slip higher and stroke affectionately and lovingly across Eliot's cheeks in utter worship and reverence. Letting him take the lead on the kiss he just indulges in the two of them.)
(his brows knit together slightly as he continues to kiss him. He doesn't focus on anything more than their kiss, though. It's not to turn him on or try to get in his pants, but rather to melt him down. Turn away all of those worries he has inside.
His hands take care to cradle Seunwoo close, elegant things that cup his jaw in one and the back of his neck in the other. To show him that he'll still love him.)
(Melt him down it does. Seunwoo is reduced to nothing more than a malleable mass of loving goo in Eliot's gentle, delicate hands; he's cradled with love and care and it reverberates deep within his soul.
Gathering up Eliot in his own hands, he lovingly touches and strokes his skin, taking in every single second of this. Of them. It'll all be there, deep in his memory and his heart. Only when they part for a brief moment does he open his eyes, gazing lovingly at his partner in the dusk.)
(His eyes open too, watching Seunwoo's face as he speaks those words.)
I love you, too.
(His words are spoken softly, but each syllable clear. He leans into the touch, eyes closing as he enjoys every single moment of affection and love, letting it wash over him like a wave.)
I never want to stop touching you, you beautiful man. Thank you for letting me hold your heart, if only for a little while...
(Cradling Eliot's face in his hands like he's the most precious thing in his entire world. And he is. There's another sigh, as if he can't even believe this is happening.)
You're wonderful. Thank you. We should go to sleep soon. We have another long day ahead of us...
(Assuming they don't wake up apart and back on Earth again.)
(Eliot has never been loved like this, either. So it's difficult for him to give it up and go to bed when he's sort of thinking that they might wake up, on Earth, in different beds. Back on the path they were before.
It's funny to think about, considering that he'd thought so much of getting home before. Of having running water, heat, a real bed. He couldn't help himself then. He can't help himself now.)
Want to sleep out here, or go to bed?
(He asks with an affectionate combing of his fingers into Seunwoo's long hair.)
Mm. I like both equally... But we might get cold if we stay out here and the morning dew settles on us. We should probably go back inside where the hearth is warm. I don't want you to catch a cold.
(Not that Eliot's constitution is weak but Seunwoo's job is to worry about his other half; resting his cheek against Eliot's arm when he's brushing his fingers through his hair.)
(He nods his head in agreement, anyway. It's true that the mornings tend to get a little chilly in the early hours and he doesn't want either of them to wake up cold. They're not camping, after all.)
I can feel wonderful in bed. Come on, baby. Let's go snuggle.
(He's careful as he gets out of the hammock and waits for his lover, holding his hand out for him so they can walk together to get into bed.)
Help me, I think I'll fall and die trying to get up.
(Once Eliot is out of the hammock, he takes the other's hand and slips out onto the ground. They look so easy but hammocks are sneaky death traps, he's sure of it. As they make their way through the grass and back to the flicker of light from their cabin he takes one last look at the twinkling lightning bugs in case this does happen to be their last goodnight.)
(He pauses at the door to gather Seunwoo up in his arms and pull him close, chest to chest. He's a little sorry for pulling him into this world and sorry that things are so good here, in a way. He smiles sadly at Seunwoo and leans in to kiss him again, at the threshold of the door, a chaste thing full of affection. Full of love.)
(As they come through the doorway, he leans up into that kiss and closes his eyes as their lips meet; he loves him so much he can't help himself. He puts his arms around him and hugs him tight, snuggling up close to him as if he never wants to let him go. And he doesn't want to. When they part - he looks sorrowful, slightly - he looks up at Eliot with heady, heavy eyes full of affection and desire.)
(He smiles at him anyway, hands rubbing at his sides warmly.)
We're home, baby.
(He glances out at the yard, taking it all in for a moment before he turns back to their little shack, flickering with firelight. He reaches for his lovers hand, then, and laces their fingers so he can bring him inside and close the door.)
(Once they're inside and the door is closed, he looks up at Eliot with those loving eyes, a gaze full of worship.)
It might not be the nicest place, or the most comfortable place, but it's home. Where you are.
(Parting from Eliot just for a moment, he puts a little more kindling on the fire to keep them warm as the coldness of the morning threatens to come in; he then returns to him, sitting on the bed and holding out his arms.)
(He's grinning as he watches Seunwoo settle in, tending to the fire and then reaching for him from the bed. He doesn't hesitate to step closer, kicking his shoes off so he can climb in next to him. He wraps an arm around his shoulders and pulls him close, kissing his cheek.)
Not much you can do when your only choice of something soft is straw. I'm surprised we managed to stitch together enough fabric to keep us from getting poked by it...
(They are a bit more handy than he'd expected. It was hard labor, but rewarding. Once they're settled in bed together, he pulls the scratchy wool blanket they bought at the market over the two of them; he lays his head on Eliot's shoulder and looks up at him with a smile. His bronze skin looks even more amber by the light of the fire that's flickering, lighting up the room.)
(He settles in, long body stretched out and tilted toward Seunwoo in the bed, smiling as he settles into their usual position. He sighs, relaxing completely with him, admiring him for a long, quiet moment.)
You're so beautiful.
(He knows Seunwoo is aware, but it's times like these when Eliot feels bewitched by his beauty. He can't look away.)
(just in case they do wake up at home. He wants to convey how grateful he feels, and how lucky he feels to have these moments. To be in Fillory and experience something like this. An incredible love. Building a life.
It's been my pleasure. The best experience of my life, El.
(Seunwoo's words are soft, he's in that telltale state of just on the verge of dozing off; Eliot's seen it countless times. The way his eyes flutter as he tries to fight off sleep and spend just a little bit longer with him, the way his breathing starts to grow deep.)
(It's nice just to focus on the moment. The soft way Seunwoo breathes, how he relaxes when he finally drifts off, and how beautiful the flickering of the fire makes him look. His heart feels so full, he can barely take it.
Eliot kisses his lovers lips very gently, as to not wake him, and then lays his head back into the pillows so he can drift off, too. )
