Well! This is quite uncomfortable isn't it?

[River frowns when she sees the face behind that voice. She's not sure when the Doctor first meets her, but she's fairly sure it's not when he's this young. This is the youngest she's ever seen him.]

Awkward might be better.

[Well he certainly doesn't recognize her but he looks at his hand and then back up to her.]

I suppose it isn't all so terrible, though. It is only a silly string after all, it could make for a rather fascinating piece of conversation-- Oh. Dear. I'm terribly rude, aren't I? I'm the Doctor.

Some people keep them on to remind themselves of something. [There's a brief flicker as she wonders what name to give him until she finally decides on her real name. He'd never connect the dots, though somehow she doesn't think it'll be a problem since he doesn't recognize her face...she thinks.]
