Someone had called in a favor and thor's bruised, broken body was transported to a world he didn't know. What happened to the other people of Asgard he had no idea, but he hoped they weren't dead. Honestly, that was his first thought as he woke up naked in a bed bigger than he was three times, naked and honestly a little hard.
His eyes blinked at the ceiling and Thor tugged the sheet close to his left hip. Slowly, the god eased himself down onto the cool floor and looked around. "This is new," he said to himself, before turning toward the door and seeing the man dressed in shadows.
"I am Thor Odinson, who are you and do you wish me ill?"

It had taken only four words to throw the New Republic Senate into chaos: “Takodana is under attack.”
Not that it wasn’t a circus at the Senate on a day-to-day basis. As the cold war between the First Order and Leia Organa’s Resistance escalated, so did the tension between the Populists and the Centrists. Hostilities that Senator Jane Organa’s always found herself in the midst of, considering that her mother had quit the Senate to start the Resistance, that the Populists had fought tooth and nail to get her elected as Leia’s replacement in spite of the unorthodox circumstances, that the First Senator position was once more being considered and she was somehow one of the potential candidates. Hostilities that sometimes gave rise to threats on her life that were very, very real; in fact, she’d had her entire security detail wiped out in an attack once, and there had come a time when she needed to get away from Hosnian Prime just to let the political unrest settle for a bit.
But today, it’s a different kind of chaos. Less on who’d been right all along about the First Order’s existence and them being a hostile military force. More about the rumors that the Order’s on a conquest heading Coreward, and that their military’s just unveiled a superweapon, a new Death Star.
Then the screaming started. Why or what happened, nobody really knew. But mass hysteria had set in, and things were only going to go from bad to worse.
“Senator—” Jane’s aide says urgently, clearly starting to panic. Everyone’s running to the exits of the chamber, but the brunette’s still in their repulsorpod, her attention on her comlink. “Please, we have to go.”
The young Senator of Alderaan doesn’t budge from where she’s seated though, fingers flying as she sifts through and responds to several messages — her parents, her friends in the Resistance, her contacts in Intelligence. Oh, she’d wanted to join her mother and become a rebel, had been ready to quit her post as aide. But Leia had pulled her aside and begged her to stay, because she needed eyes and ears and a voice in the Republic. And like the good, obedient daughter that she is, she’d relented, though over time she’d actually come to love her work in some way.
“Senator,” her aide repeats, pleading.
