Canon Immersion Meme
Have you ever wondered what your character would be like if they grew up in another universe? Maybe you've pictured Dean Winchester as a pokemon trainer specializing in Fighting types who travels from Kanto to Nuvema with his psycic trainer brother, taking down rogue legendaries who are causing chaos for the local people. Or maybe you've pictured Sailor Moon as a Power ranger, or want to have Batman be a member of the Avengers.
Well dream no more, your chance has arrived.
HOW IT WORKS:
○Post with your character
DON'T LEAVE YOUR COMMENT BLANK. Assume no one has heard of your canon and write a brief sentence or two about it. Other things you can add to the post are wiki links to descriptions (though if your canon is massive and convoluted I would still write a brief easily understandable summary of it). A few ideas for how people can integrate their character into your canon might be nice, or even writing up a starter. Aside from canon description these are optional, however they are nice.
○Tag other people. The person you tag determines the canon your character is being immersed in. Imagine them as having always lived in that universe. Make sure to include a little about them in your reply, especially if you are assuming any prior relationship with the person you're tagging. It obviously doesn't have to be lengthy, but a few details would be helpful to your new rp partner.

Jon is the son of one of the greatest superheroes of that world... and a rookie one himself! Your character could either be another young hero going on adventure with him or an older one potentially mentoring him maybe? Those are just two ideas and I'm open to discussion!

Younger characters could well be mutants at a special school called Xavier's, and older ones instructors, guest lecturers, or just heroes in other forms that run into people.
Kanata Shinkai | Ensemble Stars!
Idol School! Yumenosaki Private Academy is a modern day, Japanese high school that specializes in training its students to be the next Big Thing in the music industry. It's particularly known for its special Idol Course. As part of their school work, idol students can preform and compete against one another on-stage in units of up to five members.

Kanata is a member of the super sentai-themed idol unit Ryuseitai. He's also been branded as one of the school's "Five Eccentrics" - students who are seen as weird, troublesome and a little... inhuman. In Kanata's case, this is partly because he spends most of his free time playing in the school's fountain, talking to fish, and is the somewhat reluctant leader of a cult that worships him as some sort of living sea god....
More setting info here! Aside from straight-up canon immersion, I'm also down for finding ways to mix aspects of both canons together!
Kaname Chidori | Full Metal Panic!
Full Metal Panic! takes place in a world similar to our own with a handful of exceptions: due to a few changes in history the Cold War is still ongoing. KGB still exists. And futuristic "Black Technology" has allowed Gundam-esque mechs, electro-magnetic cloaking systems, and reality warping tech running on ~will power~. Sources of this tech seem to come from people known as "the Whispered" who have this technology locked away inside of their head. Terrorists look kidnap these people and weaponize their information while counter-terrorist organizations try to covertly thwart them. All of this happening outside of the general knowledge of the public.
Other themes include: time loops, ghosts, mind-sharing, but also shit like normal SOL/school drama
Character
Kaname Chidori is your average Japanese school girl on the surface. Good grades, involved in school activities, and despite being the daughter of a politician she attends a mediocre school in Tokyo. Though she's a little ostracized from her peers because after living in America for a few years she's viewed as too loud and unruly. However the "average" part changed when her school trip to Okinawa was hijacked by terrorists and she was forced to awaken her skills as a Whispered. Now she needs to be protected from terrorists as she lives out her daily life trying to pretend to be normal.
Looking For:
We can AU your character into her world, or we can do a mix of hers + theirs. Some easy fits would be other high school age characters, mecha pilots, protection-for-hire characters, or even anti-heroes/villains who might want to use her power to help shape the world in their favor or in a way they believe to be "right".
