Hank snorts, crosses his arms over his chest, leans back in his chair. "You got that right," he says, only kind of bitterly, and looks over to study the guy. He takes a couple seconds to debate whether to ask what it is he wants to know and then figures, fuck it, if the question crosses a line someone's probably going to let him know.

"What are you in for? If that's the kind of thing you're allowed to ask around here, I mean, I'm not used to this whole..." He gestures around at the cheap fold out chairs, the cheap fold-out table with cheaper coffee sitting on top of it, little paper cups, self help pamphlets. So far the whole support group thing's pretty much exactly what he'd been imagining, but that doesn't make him feel any less weird and out of place and shitty for even sort of almost wanting to be here. "...this whole thing, you know, it's all kinda new to me."
