how would you like to have it set? Weird Bruce Willis style dream sequence or busting him out of the basement?]

hmmm a dream sequence would be pretty funny, tbh! ]
And he knows right where to put it. IfYannoWutIMean
Perhaps he's not aware of the grand lack of anything in the fields beyond the Hellsing manor.
How there are no foxes making awful noises. No owls hunting. A grand amount of bugger all actually.
Well, except for an unusually tall thing stood at the top of one of the grassy knolls and what looks like a weapon.
So all in all a totally normal night. Right? Right.
Of course, the entity stood at the top of the knoll knows where he is too. He's always been there. Just watching and waiting. Or does he? Perhaps the way he's shifting and occasionally spasming has nothing to do with just how disgruntled he is.]
W h y ?
Perhaps it would trouble him, later, how effortlessly he could pull the trigger, no matter how justifiable the blood spilt, but he wouldn't concern himself with that right now. Not with his uncle's still warm, limp body being hauled over his shoulder, as he furthers himself within the manor's dungeon, stopping only once he makes it to the chained up corpse in the basement. )

She couldn't find Alucard anywhere.
Rip appeared in the basement without bothering to let Arthur or Walter know she was back from her mission. She had felt as if something were wrong the moment she set foot onto the Manor grounds and felt the overwhelming urge to investigate. She followed her senses deeper into the basement, the sense of wrongness growing and growing until she reached a door with occult symbols painted on it.
They were meant to keep something in. Rip had a guess of what that was and it gave rise to her anger that they would do something like this to him. Now she just had to force her way through the door....]

So he endures the pleasantries. The professor is actually quite brilliant, and he almost enjoys the brief conversation he has with him before his father cuts in. It's not until the professor escorts him and his father down to actually look at the beast that Ryan realizes Alucard isn't human at all. Even a skeptic like him can tell, and it would be a lie to say he's not frightened when he sees those blood red eyes glaring back at him, far more menacing than his own could ever be. For a moment, he considers earnestly devoting himself to assisting in refining the method being used to control the monster before him. But then his father just has to go and make a comment.
"Those eyes are just like yours, boy. You best keep fighting off the devil within you if you don't want to end up like that."
No. He's not going to imprison this creature. He's going to let it loose tonight. It was a long ride into the city, so his father will be staying the night. Cold, murderous fury burns inside him, but Ryan keeps it under wraps until nightfall. It's long past midnight when he returns to where the vampire is being kept, lips pressed into a thin line.]
You must be terribly unlucky to end up here.

he can hear them talk upstairs, hear them trail down to look at him like a creature in a zoo, and it's humiliating. abraham even puts him for his paces, orders him to move, to walk, to test the seals he's so goddamn proud of, like alucard is a dog on a leash.
which he is.
he's hateful though, and bitter, and doesn't so much as speak a word the entire time.
abraham pins him down harder for the night when they leave, naturally, so when ryan--alucard thinks that's his name, he heard it at least once--returns to observe him, he's pinned to the wall with stakes, shackled in silver that burns his wrists, and surrounded with--there's a cross above him, garlic, salt, and wild roses around him. abraham is very thorough.
when he looks up at his uninvited visitor he looks wan, and tired, but he grins nonetheless--and it's not kind. ]
That's one way to put it. Back to gawk? It seems your father lumps us together. How does that make you feel?
no subject
How do you think? You have enhanced senses, don't you? I'm sure you heard my heartbeat, then.
[Because it was beating hard, even harder than it is now. His hatred is frighteningly powerful, even more powerful than his fear.]
I'd wager that you were feeling similarly. I'm surprised a man as intelligent as the professor would go so far. It doesn't seem wise to earn the hatred of a man that can't die.
no subject
Oh, I know. I'd like to hear it, though, from your own mouth.
[ he can't really move, not like this, but he does manage to cant his head, just a little. it makes him look a bit like a curious dog. ]
He could have killed me. Easily. But he's a fool, and keeps my alive for his own use. Makes it ever more difficult to finally end me, but I'm sure he intends my suffering to be indefinite. He claims to care for humanity, but--
[ he pauses, clearly angry, but there's a flash of something human in his expression, briefly, careful and brittle. ]
--he damns an innocent woman to eternal half-life, cursed and damned, just by keeping me alive. So don't you believe his prattle about the good of humanity.
no subject
Words just cheapen it, but if you really want to hear it, then so be it. I detest him. He's a pathetic shell of a man with an ego so fragile that he needs to invent a demon to step on to raise himself from his own despair. I hate him, and I hate men like him who try to pretend they're better than others because they're fighting for some grand cause. We're all just animals in the end.
[Lifting his chin, Ryan slips a hand into his pocket, fingering his pocket knife.]
What would you do if you managed to break free from those seals?
