the random scenario meme (extended)
Since it was requested...You all know how it works, too, but here.
How it works:
1. Post with your character, series, and preferences if you have any (for smut options).
2. Others roll using this handy dandy random number generator to pick a prompt type and prompt! Or the original commenter can set up a scene, it all works!
3. Play it out, but be nice~. Respect other players!
4. Have fun.
TYPE OF SCENE
1. Angst - Angst
indicates heavy/depressing topics. Characters suffer emotionally orphysically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
2. Fluff - Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
3. Sex - first times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related ideas.
4. Action - gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
5. Crack - genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes!
6. Your choice! - think of your own scenario or choose one of the above, make a combo even!
ANGST
1. Injury/illness - character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
2. Last moments - character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
3. Depression - character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
4. Betrayed - character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
5. Tortured - character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
6. Jealousy - character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
7. Breakup! - This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
8. Broken - for whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
9. Fight - You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
10. Lost - you lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
11. Worst Nightmare - whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
12. Addicted - you're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
13. Hurt You - you're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
14. Separation - you were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
15. Becoming a Monster - different from the crack version, you are slowly changing, becoming a monster. Vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no one can help you.
16. Frozen - you are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
17. Prison - you were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
18. Fear - you're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
19. Hated - you are now hated by the person you loved the most.
20. Down and Out - you're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.
FLUFF
1. Cuddling - for whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.
2. Pillow talk - after the main event, characters are up for some pillow talk.
3. Celebration - anniversary or some other big event is taking place and characters want to celebrate!
4. Love Confession - someone has finally decided to confess their love and today is the day!
5. Appreciation - you feel the need to show appreciation for that person closest to you, even if it's just a pat on the back.

He lowered his head, brushing it against the man's arm when he realized the other was trying to write something. ...Loki. That was the man's name?
To communicate the question, Eliot reached a paw down to the words, then turned and again nudged the stranger with his nose. Then he looked up, blue eyes shining in the moonlight to wordlessly ask his question. Is that you?
He started writing on the ground above Loki's name. ]

O...[ The first few letters of his name was easy with its straight lines, but when he got to the O again, he couldn't get it right, looking more like a scraggly diamond on his first attempt. Perhaps it was the further reach, but he couldn't repeat the one he drew earlier. So in frustration, he crossed it out and let out a soft grunt of frustration. ]

The wolf seemed to understand the point Loki was trying to get across, at least. That was helpful. The wolf nudged at him, gestured towards the name written in the dirt, as if he was asking whether it was his name there.
Loki nods his head, the barest hint of a smile curling the corners of his stitched lips. Yes, dear wolf. That is his name.
He then watched as the wolf then began to try the same, taking note of each letter written above his own. An "E," and then the others ... and some difficulty, it seemed. But perhaps he could help.
Shifting closer, Loki brought a hand to where the wolf had been writing, finishing the circle shape in the dirt. Just to help out a little, and then he drew back to let the wolf finish. ]

[ And there they have it, introductions were made. It was the strangest meeting of individuals that ever happened, but Eliot could appreciate the effort placed in it.
After a while, his curiosity got the better of him and he began to reach out as if to start writing. With a glance up as if to alert Loki of what he was doing, he crossed out the space where Loki wrote his name to put in new letters in the dirt. ]
...M ...I ...N ...D ...?
[The "D" and the "?" came out better than his attempt at "O" did earlier, possibly because he wasn't trying to stretch his paw.
Surely, he hadn't been imagining things earlier. ]

LIfting his hand again, he traced the letters written there, helping to commit it to memory. He would whisper the name aloud if he could, but in his head would have to do for now.
Eliot.
A different name for a wolf than what Loki was used to, but like the wolf's colouring, it was a unique name. He liked it. It was only a pity that he couldn't actually call the wolf by that name, and likely would never have a use for it aside from writing in the dirt.
The wolf - Eliot - was writing again, and Loki watched him again. The word written puzzled him, for a moment. He wondered if Eliot was trying to ask him about that spell he'd tried earlier ... that would make sense, wouldn't it? It was the only mind-related thing he'd done thus far.
With a slight nod of his head, he shifted to face the wolf a little more properly. He gestured to himself at first, two fingers lightly tapping the side of his head, and then he hesitantly and carefully repeated the gesture at the wolf's head as well. His thoughts, what he wants to say, he can cast a spell to let the wolf hear them ... is what he hopes Eliot understands. ]

He stopped his writing and stared directly at Loki with his clear blue eyes as if by gazing directly at the man he could somehow ask his questions easier.
Who are you?
It was so strange, meeting this man with the sealed mouth who simply accepted wolves could write, that people could read minds, and was somehow over a thousand years old. Eliot didn't know what to think anymore.
When it was obvious that he was going to get nowhere with a staring contest, he broke the contact and returned to writing again. ]
...A ...G ...A ...I ...N ...?
[ And Eliot tried to nudge his head up against Loki's hand where he raised his two fingers earlier, attempting to prompt the man into speaking and communicating. He wasn't afraid, not when he knew to expect it. He can cage up the beast within if the creature tried to make him bolt.
Yet before Loki could start, Eliot drew on the dirt again. ]

[ Did that mind thing go one way or two? Because he wasn't sure he wanted a stranger probing into his mind after all. ]

"Again," that much was obvious enough. The wolf wanted him to try again, and Loki was terribly reluctant to. After the initial reaction to his magic, the god didn't want to risk frightening or angering the wolf again. Eliot, he was the only companion he had now, and Loki didn't want to risk scaring him away again.
The arrows ... both ways, and one way. He supposed he could simply point to one, but the wolf ... he seemed to want to hear him again. Would he be frightened again? Would he run away?
Hesitating, Loki brought himself a little closer, his hand trembling as he lifted it up. Two of his fingertips touched the wolf's forehead, and he held Eliot's gaze for a long moment before trying again, wishing and hoping that the wolf didn't fear him again.
I cannot hear you. This spell only works one way.
Please forgive me for frightening you earlier, I-- I did not mean- ...
The god suddenly slumped forward against the wolf, magic resources and strength run dry. He didn't pass out completely, but he was exhausted from such a simple trick. ]

It was amazing, he heard the other as clearly as if Loki had spoken aloud and he heard him with his ears, except he knew, even without seeing those sealed lips, that it wasn't the case.
An overwhelming sense of relief flooded through him when he realized that for another day, his beastly secret was safe. The moment was short lived, however, when he suddenly felt Loki cut off their communication and slump heavily against him. It surprised Eliot enough to nearly stagger them both, but he recovered and quickly propped the other back up. Carefully, he maneuvered Loki until the man rested against him and the tree.
Guilt washed through the retrieval specialist when he realized this trick, whatever it was, must have drained Loki of his energy. The other probably did it only at his insistence and this tired form was the result.
From what he could recall of Loki's anguished sounding tone, the man was desperately afraid of being left alone. Lowering his head, Eliot whined softly in apology. Not knowing how else to help than to use his proximity again, he curled up beside Loki and lowered his head onto the other man's lap. He was sorry, he really didn't mean to push the other so. Don't worry Loki, Eliot had the whole night and he wasn't going anywhere. ]

But he didn't. Eliot stayed right where he was, and listened to his weary projected voice. Perhaps it was a combination of the exhaustion and the relief that had him collapsing against the wolf. But he really was. He was so, so relieved that Eliot wasn't afraid, and stayed where he was.
Loki even smiled, just a little bit, as he was brought to lean up against the tree. His head was spinning a little bit, but it helped when the wolf lay down beside him, and Loki's hand found those ears again for a few more soft scratches.
He felt safe, here. He felt protected, that the wolf would prevent any harm from coming to him. It was that thought that helped him slide a little further down, to curl up around the wolf and close his eyes again. The first few nights alone in Midgard had been long, terrible and fearful, but now he felt he could sleep outside soundly.

Deep in the night, just as the full moon started to sink, a soft breeze woke the predator. The manbeast —Eliot— was struggling to wake with him, but he yawned. There was no danger, not in the environment and not to his charge. Possibly mollified by his assessment, the manbeast drifted back to sleep, leaving the wolf cracking powerful jaws as his tongue lolled out to taste the air.
He sniffed the night, then turning his head, burrowed his nose into the side of the human resting beside him. There were strange conflicting scents of grasslands and winter, old blood and human-not-human sweat, but most importantly a lingering smell of warm old spices. Liking the last of those, he licked at his canines then snuggled back against the human comfortably. There was no danger. Wolf and the human-not-human person was safe.
Closing his yellow eyes, the wolf drifted back off to sleep and stayed there until the morning pre-dawn hours forced him to slink away unnoticed. ]
