The Firsts Meme

It's your first time! Whether it's first kiss, first date, or even your first child, your character will be plunged into the nervous or terrifying experience that is their first time.

The list:
1. First kiss. Pucker up!
2. First date. Who's paying? Dinner and a movie, or a night under the stars in the back of your convertible Corvette?
3. First time. You've been together awhile, and it's about time to consummate things.
4. First child. Was it an accident, or planned for? You decide!
5. First Anniversary. You've made it an entire year without killing one another! Time to break open the bubbly.
6. First pet. Dog or cat? Fish tank? Rhinoceros?
7. First house. Apartment in the city, or perfect white picket fenced home! Either way, better make the best of it.
8. First fight. And things had been going so well; is your relationship strong enough to outlast the tiffs?
9. First breakup. But they were your one and only! How will you cope with losing them? How will you ever manage to find another?
10. Make up your own! Or mix and match!

As per usual, the norms apply! Post a comment with your character, and others will use the handy dandy RNG to choose a random scenario, or they'll simply pick one they like! Keep rolling and playing your little hearts out, and enjoy!

_{[ It wasn't every day the average person found themselves with some company of an undead ghosty spider alien cerulean girl until night's end on hell murder island. Aranea had been here for awhile, and throughout all of this visiting she really didn't learn how to keep her mouth shut. Not that Jake was particularly fussed; everything that she had to talk about was very interesting to him, but he knew of a way to keep her quiet.

He was gonna do it. REALLY, this was ridiculous how he felt an arrow through his heart first glance and he was too skittish to initiate any sort of action. It had to be perfect though, yeah. He wasn't gonna mess around with this opportunity.

Some way, somehow. The kid was restless until the task was accomplished.

So he figured you couldn't go wrong with cheesy. Wow, you really couldn't. Like all of those romantic comedies; maybe she'd like it.
COME ON, JAKE. BE A MAN AND KISS YOUR WOMAN.
It was difficult. It was really only just now he could conjure up complete sentences when talking to her.

And yet, here they were, in the perfect situation, seated in a grassy area overlooking the seemingly endless horizon, the reflection from a bonfire Jake had built reflecting beautifully off of her smooth looking skin. Her navy painted lips were jabbering on about something, Jake didn't know what, cause he was too busy watching them move, rather mesmerized.

Oh, maybe she was talking about how clear all the stars were tonight, or something about her planet, idk. Jake didn't know, but there was a long silence.
This prolonged silence continued forth until Jake realized he was supposed to respond. He jolted his posture and met her gaze. ]}

Hoo! Beg pardon, what was that?

[ It's been a bit of a long week for the both of them.

Long doesn't really seem like properly summarizes the sort of week they've had, really. Long with a great deal of messy, served with a side of hormonally insane, that seems to cover things pretty well. They've not been themselves through the course of this heat, not in the things they've done or the things they've said (it's a lot of work not to think about the things he's said) and Sherlock is doing his best to just sweep all that under the proverbial carpet, never to be seen again. They managed to at least keep themselves hydrated throughout the whole mess (as the moved from the bedroom to the kitchen to the sitting room to the stairs, there is no part of their flat that remains untainted now and he's just not going to think about that) and now that the metaphorical smoke has cleared they can handle the issue at hand: namely the fact that the two of them are bonded and John is absolutely, undoubtedly pregnant.

Brilliant.

Sherlock sits now in the front room, freshly showered and fully dressed for the first time in a full six days. He barely hears the sound of water running in the bath as John takes his time getting himself cleaned off and cleaned out, instead focusing his full attention on the far wall whilst trying to walk his way through how the coming conversation is going to go. It shouldn't be difficult, of course, seeing as they both are fully aware of what must be done. John will go to the surgery, the zygote will be aborted, and once that's all handled they can go about trying to settle this "bonded" business. One thing at a time and they'll have everything sorted by the end of the month.

The water stops and he releases a slow breath through his nose, setting his jaw. He can feel John's anxiety as palpably as his own no matter how much he tries to shut it out and it's only complicating matters. They just need to get this done. Then it'll be smooth sailing, and they'll be back to work like they always have been.

Just one thing at a time. ]
