beauty and the beast

the monster & the maiden fair meme

There's a long precedent in folklore and myth of beautiful young people - both men and women - being kidnapped by monsters: dragons, beasts, goblins, demons, elves, vampires, wolves, or even evil humans. In the end, however, these prisoners are almost always rescued and brought back to civilization to live a normal and happy life.

But what if they didn't want to leave their jailor?

They've seen behind the surface and have begun to sympathize with this "monster;" no, more than that, they've fallen for them. Will this story have a happy ending? Will the monster believe that anyone could love them? Most importantly, though, can the two of them be left alone without any attempts at a "rescue?"

Thread anything that could remotely fit under the umbrella theme. Was the kidnapping just that, or did both parties know (and care) for each other before, making it a collaborative, mutual effort? Perhaps you'd prefer to play the actual Beauty and The Beast-style getting to know each other or seeing behind the grizzly facade. What about an attempted "rescue?" Or maybe you could thread out a scene where the prisoner runs away from the society they were forced back into and returns to their beloved beast! It's all up to you. You could even do smut if you wanted to, but this isn't a smut meme.

[ooc: I admit, I know next to nothing about your canon (I have the books, I just haven't cracked them open yet), but I would LOVE to do a mermaid kind of thing! If Nico is the merman, he could have been shunned by his pod because of an injury / deformed fin, or something.]

Suited to be the monster, but I would love for them to be kidnapped by a much less friendly looking monster.

And since it's, well, Yoshi, the option of harmless, soft vore is on the table. Instead of being digested, your character will pop out as an egg and after hatching will feel completely refreshed and happy. We don't need to do this if it's not your thing, however.))

Also, did you have any preference in colour? All of them are pretty much the same, though I like to play the Black Yoshis as being dominant and the White ones as being submissive, but all of them are still equally friendly and happy!))

Who knew how Dolly had come to Yoshi's Island? That wasn't Yoshi's story to know. All it knew was that there was a new visitor on its home. So it sent out its tongue to stick to the woman and drag her closer.

It didn't swallow her though. No, this one wasn't for eating. Once Dolly was close enough, Yoshi unstuck its tongue and took a good look at her. After sniffing her, the black Dinosaur seemed to have come to a decision.

"Yoshi!" It cried out before wrapping its arms around her in a tight hug.

Well, this was new. One minute, she's walking around this pretty island and the next, she's got a warm, wet tongue wrapped around her pulling her close to a black skinned dinosaur. "Well, aren't you a friendly one!" She smiles, jumping in surprise as the Yoshi hugged her. "...I seem to be new around here! Wanna show me around?".

[ ooc; Hi, sure, lets give it a go! Because of how the canon works, unless Guin is a Princess of Dorne or some other nation outside of Westeros or ( god forbid ) one of Cersei's children, she wouldn't be given the title of 'princess', though she could easily be a Lady from one of the various Westerosi houses. A similar premise was featured in the Telltale game where a Lady of one of the lesser known houses came to be a handmaid for would-be Queen Maegery in hopes of securing favor for her house. Another option is she's one of Robert Baratheon's illegitimate 'bastards' who got to be a handmaiden in the Red Keep or some other profession within the walls or in the city. She could have been overlooked during the great cull of those bastards like Gendry, though with a lot of lying on her part and others. That would technically make her a princess. We can talk more about those details if you still want to continue with setting this in Westeros!

I'm also willing to play this out in your Arthurian setting where Gregor ( Sandor's big bro/torturer ) was either made a knight without knowledge of how horrible he could be or with disregard to that because of his skill and obedience ( that's why he's a knight in GOT ). I'm less familiar with that setting, though I wouldn't mind doing some reading up to make sure we're good there! Whichever you prefer so long as some of Sandor's stuff remains the same to maintain the personality he has! If you're set on Guin being a princess, this could be the better option! ]

[What about an accidental 'kidnapping?' Like... her ship sinks or her travel party is attacked, basically somehow leaving her alone, Khaishan comes across her, nurses her back to consciousness/health but is Lonely so doesn't want to let her leave so basically lies about where she wound up so she'll stay with him at least for a little bit! (claims it's a dangerous to her area, let him go scout for help and stay here where it's safe! He plans on eventually letting her go but... again lonely loser.)

Figure his race is more from over the sea and generally unknown so he's alone in Westeros and looking all dragony is gonna Scare Folk let's be real.]
