[Kazuki here is part human, part fae. I did a quick look through some of her canon information and there are some similarities between his world's fae and hers. Would she.have been willing to try helping him draw out and/or control more of his power(s)? Because he's had to learn most of it on his own and from elves who used magic differently and were always a little leery around him, more so than other humans. (They probably suspected his ancestry but saw it as a better thing he had some training than left to run wild with untempered magic.) From there, 8 is a given.
