 The Abrupt Kissing Meme

 

 

Plain and simple: your character is being kissed. Abruptly. How did this happen? Were they talking too much to the point where it was the only way to shut them up? Was someone bidding adieu or just not able to hold in their feelings? Or was this some CPR class gone bad? More importantly—how do they react?

How this works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom. Any preferences, including what you don't want, should be included as well. Congratulations, your character is being kissed by whoever tags them!
→ Tag around.
→ Feel free to roll RNG (1-9) if you cannot come up with scenarios of your own. 
→ Have fun, and be excellent to each other!

[She's asked plenty of people, but oddly enough (or not), none of the responses she was given ever seemed to match up. When should you kiss someone, and what is it like? Cyan had a long list of courtly advice and steps to take, indicating that a first kiss should only come after several weeks at least. Shadow had simply said not to get attached to anyone at all before going back to feeding his dog (she really shouldn't have asked him at all). Terra looked confused. Locke looked sad. Setzer looked like she'd offered him an open invitation so she'd blustered past him in a huff.]

[It's Sabin who laughed heartily and gave her a shove toward the ramparts on top of Figaro Castle, telling her that if anyone knows anything about kissing, it would be his brother. Yes, Edgar seemed appropriate. He seemed rather experienced when it came to women and romance, perhaps he would answer her question. It wasn't as if it were completely necessary for Celes to know how to handle the most simple of matters for completely normal people to deal with, but it would be nice to be a little more normal and hold such rudimentary knowledge herself.]

[So, Celes ascends the stairs to see Edgar there, looking out over the sands. What's he thinking about? Hm... With only a momentary pause, Celes continues to march forward, her snowy cloak billowing lightly in the arid desert wind.]

[ for some reason atsushi thought that accidentally ending up in bed with each other semi regularly would be enough to improve their teamwork. but having been put together on a ~play date~, as dazai called it, only showed just how terrible they were at this partner thing.

even today, akutagawa is as insufferable as ever and of course he won't stop speaking to atsushi like he's on some high horse he doesn't even deserve to be on. so what if he's bad at surprise attacks?! not like akutagawa is any better at them. (he is.)

but for some reason atsushi ends up with the fingers of both his hands curled into the ridiculous ruffles of akutagawa's cravat and he glares at him, like a cat that has been wronged. which he is, in a sense..

unlike a cat, atsushi doesn't hiss at akutagawa or try to scratch him, though. he yanks at the cravat, hard enough to pull akutagawa closer, and gives him one last glare before he leans in and presses their lips together.

see, he can totally deliver surprise attacks. ]

[ BAKUGOU COULD BE LIKE HER KID BROTHER.

It comes with a hug, one arm around his chest and the other on the side of his head and kind of also prepared to defend herself and he kisses the top of her head.

Probably it's a reward! Shanoa doesn't kiss casually you know. It's no surprise for him to succeed at something though so this must be extra good if she's giving him a kiss for it! And like a proper older sister she thinks it might fluster him. In their long, convoluted history of totally knowing one another she can't recall a time anyone's willfully entered his personal space so intimately.

So there you have it. A kiss on the head.]
