Maybe I should have brought two. [Ryoji steps away from the telescope, smiling thoughtfully. Then, almost as though he'd only just remembered he had it, he passes Chihiro the soda. They're going to be here a while, after all - might as well keep up their strength.] We'll probably be switching back and forth a lot.

[But he moves to take a seat by the graphing paper, silently ceding the right to look first to Chihiro.]

[The camp might have been mostly down for the night, but tonight the moon shone bright enough for Steve not to need the lights from the dark windows to make his way through camp.

He made his way to the edge of the clearing, sitting on a table and glancing up at the perfect sky above him before pulling out his pad and a pencil and attempting to emulate it.]

[Chihiro is moving toward the telescope now, though pauses at the words. He flushes, self-conscious, and looks down as he shifts from foot to foot, twisting his hands together.] Mm... I like it a bit...

Is it...strange? [Computers and programming are his passion, of course, but he has an interest in astronomy, other aspects of science. And...they're not hobbies that others need to be around to have fun with, not really.

Though this is kind of fun, even if it's for school.]

[Sherlock says nothing as he kicks the front door open, his arms full of telescope and tripod pieces. He moves to the window, glancing out the windows furtively before muttering to himself and setting his bounty on the floor. He begins assembling the telescope quickly, occasional glancing out the window as he does so.

When he's done, he glances down at his watch and puts his hands on his waist impatiently.]

There hasn't been a moon in over a decade, so, of course, now that Yin feels the light of it gently falling over her skin, she soaks it up, like a cat sunning in a window. She didn't even tell Hei she was going to stop, just does and lifts her head towards the bright, full moon.

[John was sitting in his chair reading the paper when Sherlock stormed in. As Sherlock built the telescope, John didn't say a word. He just stared silently the entire time until the whole darn thing was assembled. It wasn't until Sherlock was finished that John asked:]

[As the moon's light starts to disappear, the moon slipping behind the Earth, Yin, more than anything, feels the light of the full moon fade. Not long after it begins, Yin reaches out to take Hei's hand.]

[She just reminds herself it's only for a little while. Unlike the last time the moon left, once the eclipse is over, it will return. But for now, while it disappears, she wants Hei a little closer.]

[That chuckle sends a ripple down her spine, but for the moment she has to ignore it. She smiles instead.]

You 'll see. Try to keep up.

[With that, she is out the door and running. She has no doubt that he can keep up with her of course, even as she moves through the trees, adjusting course to keep from colliding. She's still running when she speaks, certain that he can hear her.]
