Sure she met Thor when she was working with the Avengers. Sure she was young and spry when she was coaxing Kamala out of her shell and taking her out on adventures with her, Chloe and the other young Future Avengers.

And yet, at the age of sixty, Carol didn't seem to be slowing down.

Maybe it was the powers that still coursed through her body, but when she stumbled that morning at coffee at Avengers Tower, maybe that was a sign. A sign she was already growing weaker with age.
