[ Ah, well. It's another Heian Monogatari stuff where Kuro Seimei wasn't busy trying to destroy the world or something and he somehow went to, idk, probably trying to summon some shikigami even though he didn't have the MC privilege to do that. He actually somehow left a pretty... curious box of pocky? Ootengu being a relatively curious youkai himself, somehow remembered the tradition of what normal human those days would like to do with the snacks.

With that in mind (and hand), Ootengu flaps his wings, making a short journey towards the other currently available youkai in the place. Well, it just happens to be Yuki Onna. Perfect. She has always been interested in learning more of those humanity stuff, hasn't she? ]

Yuki Onna. [ He calls out to her as soon as he's close enough to her. ] A moment of your mind, if I may?

[We know that these two sillies would totally do this any day. Especially when they are still pining for each other in high school.

It's a rare occasion when Ignis packs sweets for his lunch and this time it was a box of pocky! What a treasure, Noctis wonders as he opens the box and takes a pocky out of the packet. It's lunch break at school and they are spending it outside the gardens, under some cherry trees with Prompto. It's not usual, but even Noctis has to admit that cherry blossoms are pretty and it would be a waste to enjoy them from the classroom.

So as Noctis is placing the pocky in his mouth he gets this idea. It seems like a good idea for some silly reason so he turns to Prompto next to him.]

Prompto! [He calls with the stick between his lips as he leans over, challenge glinting in his eyes.]

[Chuuya normally isn't one for sweets, so he can't quite explain what possessed him to buy a box of Pocky at the convenience store. Whatever it was, it wanted plain chocolate, and it got what it wanted.

He also can't explain why he chose to head to Dazai's apartment from the convenience store instead of his own. In any case, that was what happened, and now they're sitting at the chabudai in the middle of his apartment. Chuuya's cheek is in his hand as he switches from eyeing Dazai to the Pocky.

Then it hits him.

He never lost a game of chicken. Dazai would surely turn this into one of his ten-steps-ahead games, but the thought of potentially winning at something? Against Dazai, at that? He can't just ignore it.]

Hey, Dazai.

[He picks up the red box and gives it a shake, maintaining eye contact with Dazai. He grins.]
