Much like many of the men who had been deployed to Korea, Jack didn't want to be there. But seeing as he was one of the few people in Torchwood who could take on this assignment without risking permanent death, and being much closer to American than anyone else in Torchwood, he was the natural choice who could complete the mission without raising too much suspicion. With a few forged documents, Jack was sent in and embedded at the Mobile hospital near the suspected source of the incidents he was sent to inspect.

However, it was far too late to start out now, and heading into the mess tent, he spots one soldier, a bit smaller than the others he'd seen around the camp, and rather cute with his glasses and cap. After he'd grabbed his meal, he made his way over. "This seat taken?" he asked with a smile.
