[ It's taken them all a long time to get here. Making things work with three is never easy, and there had been a few extra challenges in their case. Mostly, granted, from CT's end. She'd needed time to let go of Varric, to untangle her feelings for him from her feelings for Gladio, to keep herself from feeling like she was crossing a dozen lines every time she let herself smile at him or at Ignis...

But both of the boys had been wonderful. Patient - even when it was hard for Gladio to be so - understanding, welcoming. So full of love, for each other and for her. She hadn't known that kind of generous, overflowing love was even possible. Had never dreamed there'd be a place in their lives for her, not like this. Not offering her everything the way they had, over and over and over again.

But here they are. The three of them, happier and stronger than ever together, and after long discussion they've finally decided to take the next big step. Gladio's wanted to be a father forever, she knows, and she has no doubts that both of them will be wonderful ones. As usual, it had been CT who'd been the last to jump in with both feet; as usual, Ignis and Gladio both had been willing to wait until she was sure. Now she is.
